Fantasia And Married Boyfriend Are Doing A Reality Show?

Okay, hold up!  After taking an overdose of aspirins, Fantasia and the married man that she was having an affair with are now taping a reality show.  Please tell me that the whole suicide incident wasn't one of those fake reality show gimmicks to recruit a viewing audience.

I know that FlavorFlav's show was fake and so was RJay's reality show because most of those young ladies vying for their their heart winded up with their own televison show or were rewarded in some  type of way.  New York was given her own television series similar to FlavorFlav.  Some of the other ladies appeared in Monique's television series.  Has the old Hollywood casting couch been remodeled?

Why are reality shows geared to make blacks look trashy?  Are these the new blaxploitation flicks that have replaced those old school ones like "Superfly" and "The Mack" or better yet those "Blackface" vaudeville acts?  Projecting black male images of players and black females as promiscuous seems to be in again. They've even took it to a new level when they had the "Bobby Brown"  reality shows to project blacks as crack addicts. And don't forget Frankie the ex-crack cocaine addict mother who liked younger men in the Keyshia Coles' reality show. Even in their so-called upper black class families, they're projecting some type of stereotypical image of blacks.

Does anyone in Hollywood believe that black folks lead normal, decent, law abiding lives like all other human beings? Or are they just insistent on painting blacks in a tiny box as those "undesirables" of America? Has the black community in reality really ran out of any good images to show the world?

I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU ARE SAYING.....FANTASIA IS JUST ASKING FOR IT NOW. THAT WOMAN ALREADY SAID SHE WAS GONNA COME AFTER HER. BUT EVEN THE MAN'S WIFE LOOKS MUCH OLDER...LOOKS LIKE HE MARRIED A COUGAR.

Hollywierd isn't portraying them in any way they don't want to be. Noone's making them do it. It just shows that people are willing to do anything for the $.

It's so sad that in 2010 black folks are still willing to do anything for 15 mins of fame!

Hi Granny! It probably was a gimmick! Who's going to OD on BABY aspirin!! When there's so many stronger things out there? For some people, money is their God. And we can't do much about it.

@Bigmac--not all black folks, but a few black folks. There will always be people, not just black, who will do anything for 15 minutes of fame. They are always the ones who get on HollyweirdTV.

It's up to us to keep broadcasting the upstanding people of our race. We have this medium to us now and its quite powerful! We should use every waking moment to post the GOOD aspects of our culture, and not even bother to broadcast the fools. They get all their help from CNN, MTV, and the rest. It's truly up to us to shine the light on our positive culture. We should do it with a vegeance.

Hey Della, long time no see and that goes for you too Anna Renee, but it's good to see both of your comments again.

Della, now you know us old folks sometimes get names mixed up. LOL! My grandkids tease me about that all the time. They've gotten so use to me calling one of them by the other one's name, until they automatically answer for whoever's name I got mixed up. LOL! Do you think that is their way of saying, "I give up?" *wink*

Well...you know what that old school song, "Money, Money, Money" by the O'Jays said. I swear I think some of their songs were prophetic.
