Ron Paul a nominee candidate who wants to run against President Obama.  He wants to give the impression that he is ALL people's friend, especially black people. Yup! Make no mistake Paul is an old slick racist. He sorta reminds me of a plantation master that bragged to his black female servant that she was the best slave he had, then turned around the next day, and sold her all her children.

Paul trys to give black people the impression that he is their friend and wants to end some of those carefully constructed racist laws such as prison sentencing and the drug war. Now, I know why he is such a staunch defender of ending the war on drugs and legalizing them.

Well...it is nothing like an old fool, especially an old need to retire Mack Daddy. The reason Callista doesn't care what you do Newt is because she more than likely has a backdoor Jodie hidden somewhere and you are their bank. If she cared about you, she would definitely care about what you do. Newt like Herman Cain, your Mack Daddy game is weak! The same way you hurt your ex-wives, someone gone hurt you.

Mitt Romney, I swear that man is made out of plastic.  He reminds me of a mannequin in a store display.  When you get up close to a mannequin, you can see the phoniness.  Mitt's mind changes like the weather due to indecisiveness. He'll step over and on the average citizen to make money because he only sees dollar signs, not people. However, what stands out about Mitt is that he is a shameless liar.

Even a mad-dog is put out his misery because people do not want to see them suffer. Nevertheless, Jesse Lee Peterson is a deranged person who really needs psychriatric help. He makes Uncle Ruckus look like Mother Teresa.  Peterson has a deep seated hate for his own people. His latest comment took the cake. I have no respect for the man and would spit on him before I give him a glass of water. That is how much I loathe the man. He is an evil, disgusting, and despicable man! Peterson claims to be a preacher, but he is too full of hate, and I.R.S. should be investigating his organization BOND as well.

Newt's Southern Strategy

Newt Gingrich has really been showing his good old boy, southern, Georgian roots. Georgia was one of the utmost racist southern states during slavery and Jim Crow. It hasn't changed that much. I am not surprise and neither should any other black person be at Gingrich’s stereotypical black insults. Gingrich has a white supremacist mentally.

Newt is as crooked as that crooked road in San Francisco and has the morals of pig. Did folks forget how he talked Colin Powell into not running for President that is unless Colin wanted his wife dragged through the mud?

Not to mention, he can’t keep his zipper up when married because those vows, “Til death do us part and in sickness and health” don’t mean a hill of beans to him. If he wasn’t faithful to his ex-wives, he sure won’t be faithful to Americans.

I don’t know about you folks but I get tired of politicians perpetuating stereotypes to win votes. Stereotypes seep into the fabric of public policies and impact minorities in many damaging ways and down the line lead to policies that restrict and limit freedoms of black people.

In addition, an Uncle Tom goes to great lengths to disparage or block the progress of his own people to earn brownie points with whites. Nevertheless, shouldn't Santorum be preaching that to Corporations since they are the real "Welfare Queens"?

So, does that mean that he wants black people to work for free?

Does that mean that he is going to create more jobs in America, by bringing back all the American Companies from China, Japan, Mexico, Haiti, Indonesia, wherever these companies have gone? The biggest handouts in history were the Homestead Act, GI Bill, which were all exclusively programs for whites, and that includes the "FDR New Deal" too. However, now America gives the biggest handouts to Corporations in the form of welfare.

Yup! Do they seriously think that will get the black vote? Methink not, unless they are a Uncle Tom or are demon possessed with self-hate. Smh! The Republicans might as well hold their campaigns at Klan rallies. Nevertheless, I hate to break this news to Santorum, but being poor and on welfare crosses all color lines in America, blacks are not the majority of welfare recipients, poor people and I'm sure that ALL poor Americans would appreciate a job.

Lately, I've been hearing the Republicans and that one half Republican/half Libertarian Paul claiming that President Obama is responsible for excessive expensive entitlements meaning Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. I am convinced now that the Republicans and that half Republican/half Libertarian need mental therapy. Yup, they've made a believer out of me that they have truly lost it.

Or do they have suffer from a mental block because I could have swore that FDR and Johnson signed those entitlements into law. Nonetheless, it would be interesting to hear the Republican's version of how President Obama is responsible for acts that two Presidents in the past signed into law. I bet it's a doosies.

And they wonder why minorities never vote for them.

If you spray perfume on doodoo, it's still doodoo no matter how much perfume you spray on it. Paul should spare us with his BS about the historic Civil Rights Act of 1964 because it "undermine[d] the concept of liberty" and "destroyed the principle of private property and private choices." ~~Ron Paul~~

Paul claims not to be racist. Yet, he is involved and associated with known racist organizations. The John Bircher Society happens to be another one of them and I'm sure anyone who was old enough that lived during the 50s remembers them, which happens to be another one of Paul's resources on his web site. Okay, so why is it that he wants to do everything he can do to help the racist and legally discriminate? He is listed as a columnist for Council of Conservative Citizens (sidebar left hand side at bottom). The CCC is the KKK in business suits. Birds of a feather flock together.

The Civil Rights Bill was created to protect and enforced the civil liberties of those groups who were being discriminated against. Basically, what Paul is saying is that we should have kept things the way they were and not allowed "Negroes" to eat in Restaurants or work or go to schools, etc., and if people want to discriminate against minorities,women, and the disabled it should be allowed.

That's not all, Paul hit list consist of safety nets for the elderly, poor, and permanently disabled—Social Security, Medicare, Welfare, and housing. Housing is under the Department of HUD and is one of the government agencies Paul wishes to abolish. Government agencies that protect consumers, public, and environmental safety are also on his hit list.

Paul is definitely not fond of you gay folks. Matter of fact, he is in favor of the "death penalty" for homosexuals. Nor does he like Spanish speaking folks who do not speak English. As for us females, Paul thinks that sexual harrassment should be allowed in the workplace and if you don't like it...quit!

I wonder would Paul feel that way if women employees pulled a Loretta Bobbit on bosses who get too frisky with their women employees or if they clobbered those frisky oversexed bosses over the head with a stapler to protect themself from those unwanted sexual overtures.

When you pull the sheet off of Ron Paul, he is not who some gullible folks think he is.

First, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Is it just me or did you feel like playing the violin or busting out laughing when the Republican nominee candidates try to convince folks that they come from humble backgrounds and that they're concerned about people suffering?

Excuse me, but which one of theses candidates has ever been evicted from their homes due to foreclosures? Have any of them ever had a love one die because they were denied health care? Which one of them had their job shipped overseas? Have they ever had to take a reduction in pay in order to keep their job? Or have they ever had to dig out of garbage cans for bottles and cans to sale in order to eat or buy basic mandatory toiletries to supplement an already low income? Has any of them ever lived in a homeless shelter or slept under an underpass? Stood in a soup line? Lost a loved one in Iraq or Afghanistan?

Come on let's be real, none of them know what real suffering is because none of their testimonies of humble beginnings match the average middleclass or poor American. That's why their stories sound so phony and out of touch with real Americans.

GOP Party's Political Views

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. In spite of the lost of one of my dearest friends, my Christmas turned out okay. Today, I received some good news regarding my other friend. She will be coming home soon and is doing well, so that’s a blessing. I’m feeling somewhat okay today.

This has been one rollercoaster; imaginary post-racial, republican court jester’s debate, citizen protesting year. For the party of NO, it has been their defining moment of obstruction after obstruction in getting what needs to be done—undone or rather blocked from getting done. Let’s not forget the rich getting richer, while the poor are getting poorer. I’m sure that a lot of struggling folks out there won’t forget them come election time.

This particular story is one that really caught my eye:

“A 93-year-old Tennessee woman, who cleaned the state Capitol for 30 years, including the governor’s office, says she won’t be able to vote for the first time in decades after being told this week that her old state ID failed to meet new voter ID regulations.”

“Thelma Mitchell was even accused of being an undocumented immigrant because she couldn’t produce a birth certificate:”

“Mitchell, who was delivered by a midwife in Alabama in 1918, has never had a birth certificate. But when she told that to a drivers’ license clerk, he suggested she might be an illegal immigrant.”

Some folks are really longing for those good old Jim Crow days their elders told them about. They do not want to share the American pie politically, economically, or socially. Like Mitchell, there were a lot of black people born during Jim Crow that do not have a birth certificate. Blacks were refused hospital services and had to depend on midwives, homemade remedies, and even animal doctors for medical attention thanks to Jim Crow.

My grandparents did not have birth certificates. To show proof of their birth, they had to use censuses, bibles, and church documents. My great-great grandmother was a midwife as well as a substitute doctor when folks got sick. She used different herbs and trees to cure different illnesses and they worked better than a lot of the pharmaceutical drugs they overwhelm us with today that cause side effects.

Nevertheless, if the Republicans win the elections, misery and destitution will consume America like a flood.

While Granny Is Away the Trolls Will Play

Forgive me for not posting. I have not been posting lately because right now I am feeling down in the dumps and not feeling well. At first, I was feeling the Christmas spirit. And then... I lost one of my closest friends and another one of my friends is in the hospital and not doing too good right now.

Both have been my friends for many years, we go back to childhood. The one that passed just buried one of her daughters last month who died of a heart attack. My friend came down last week to spend the holidays with her family, children, and grandchildren. She had a heart attack and died.

A couple of days before she died another one of my closest friends had a few strokes. She is not doing too good and now has pneumonia. Therefore, I had been trying to keep her children from falling apart, being their shoulder to lean on, and encouraging them. Those that pray, please keep my friend in prayer that she will pull through and have a speedy recovery.

The last couple of days, I have been in the bed because I am exhausted and coming down with a cold or the flu. I have been feeling weak and achy, so I am trying to nip it in the bud before it gets worse. It is that time of the year. Cold weather and I do not agree.

However, I did get all of my Christmas shopping out the way early this year. What I spent alone should be enough to give the economy a real boost. Whose big idea was it to make up a lie about Santa Claus? Right about now, I wish I could send a bill to whoever that person was. Nonetheless, my kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and other family members will be some happy campers Christmas day, which I am thankful for being able to do and count as a blessing. So many people are suffering a hardship now and my heart and prayers goes out to them.

I hope that some of you will adopt kids to share blessings with through different charity organization programs, especially some of you folks that like to hoard money. I doubt if the two GOP sugar daddies Newt and Herman will donate any gifts to any poor kids this year or any year for that fact. That might interfere with Newt and Herman keeping their sidepieces happy. Yes, I said Newt because a zebra does not change its stripes, if he will cheat on his first wife, he will cheat on the one he has now.

Nevertheless, I am keeping up with the latest news while resting in bed. Right now, I am not in the right frame of mind to post because I am sad over the loss of my friend.

will truly miss her. I am praying that my other friend pulls through. Therefore, it will be another week or so before I post a topic.

Discrimination in Presidential Pardons

People of color just can't seem to get a fair shake when it comes to jail sentences and clemency. They have to deal with disparities in arrest, jail sentencing, and now it seems in clemency too. A report just came out regarding Presidential Pardons, which have been majority whites. Check out this chart.

"An analysis shows that, over the past decade, those with a Congress member in their corner were three times as likely to win mercy. Interviews and documents show a lawmaker’s support can speed up a stalled application, counter negative information and ratchet up pressure for an approval." ~~Dafner Linzer~~

"An African American woman from Little Rock, fined $3,000 for underreporting her income in 1989, was denied a pardon; a white woman from the same city who faked multiple tax returns to collect more than $25,000 in refunds got one. On a serious note, I feel bad for his wife Gloria. I really do! The wife is always the last to know when their husband has been unfaithful and sometimes she already knows and is denial. Nevertheless, I'm praying that she will get through with her self-esteem in tact, and that she will have the support of her family and friends because she is gonna need every last one of them to lean on.

Family and friends are a wonderful part of the Thanksgiving Holiday! I pray that your Thanksgiving is filled with Peace, Love, and Harmony!

Tomorrow is a busy day for me. I will be cooking up a storm and trying to get my entire Thanksgiving dinner ready, so that I can relax and enjoy family on the holiday because to me that is what it is all about being able to have a good time with family. I love cooking on the holidays for family and friends. I take pleasure in making sure that the food is seasoned and cooked just right.

On holidays I cook as if I am cooking for an army, because most of the time, not only will family come, but also unexpected guest as well as invited guest show up. Y’all know black folk’s families do not leave without taking a plate home with them too. Trust me, before the day is over I will be lucky if I have a bone and crumbs left. However, I do not mind though because that lets me know that the food was good.

Some people may not realize it, but we have so much to be thankful for, waking up every morning to see a brand new day, a roof over our head, clothes on our backs, and food in our stomachs, family, and friends. Many people do not have those things. My prayer is that those who are without be blessed with a good hot meal, warm shelter, love, and compassion. The older you get you become more thankful for the little things in life.

When Is The Premier For GOP Housewives Show?

Every single day, since the GOP candidates threw their hat into the ring as a nominee for presidential candidate, I can't help but wonder when are they gonna have a "GOP Housewives" show. At the rate the GOP nominees are going, I'm willing to bet that the GOP Housewives show would be interesting to say the least.

I could just see it now, Gingrich's wife flashing her jewelry from Tiffanys thinking she is all that and a bag of chips. Her and Mitt's wife would be gal pals. Cain's wife and Bachmann's wife (yeah I said wife) would be into it with Mitt's wife about religion. Paul's wife burning a cross in front of Cain's wife window, while pretending that she's her friend, and Huntmans' wife observing them all and staying a safe distance. Surprise guest would be Hermain's sex harrassment victims and Gingrich's ex-wife.

Apparently, Herman Cain thinks that he needs to waste taxpayer's dollars on Secret Service men to protect him from journalist. Like you young folks say, "Ah Hell Nah!" Cain is so full of dung and so are his anonymous cheerleaders. He had the nerve to say we need a leader not a reader. Okie dokie. There is just one thing, if a leader does not read, how can he be knowledgeable? Smh!

A thought crossed my mind when I heard about Gingrich's 1.6 million payment for consultation work for Freddie Mae a government agency. That's an awful lot of money for consultation, especially consultation fees with a government agency. I thought Uncle Sam had a set budget in all of his agencies and only allowed a certain amount of spent in each. If a office ran out, they had to wait until next budget came around.

Believe me, Uncle Sam is so tight with money allowed for business and office expenses within his government agencies, until he squeaks. Uncle Sam takes inventory of repairs, paper clips, copier ink, gas mileage, government cars, etc. Therefore, how did Newt get 1.6 million to consult and was it itemized?

Mitt Romney and the harddrive sale among his TOP aides and wiping records clean is very unusual. Evidently, the GOP learned something from that last email scandal they had when Bush was in office. Yup! They learned a better way to get rid of ~~evidence~~, oops I meant harddrives.

Michelle Bachmann, well, Bachmann is just being her "Tutti-Fruiti" self.

If You Can't Beat 'Em...Cheat!

I never thought I'd see the day when a valid ID to vote would be a gun permit. So that means that the little fellow in the above picture can vote too. Yup, he can just crawl on into the voting place on election day, crawl up to the table, get his ballad, crawl into the voting booth, and cast his vote.

The GOP party of bigots is taking us back to after Reconstruction when black folks was fleeing to Liberia to get away from their crazy ass because of guess what? You got it! Voter suppression! Back during that time, politicians was rigging the votes to put their party in power, maintain their position, and enforced it with violence. As desperate as the GOP party is right about now...well, you never know what they might try next.

Nevertheless, I guess they must feel that they wouldn't win this election unless they cheat, so they've decided to pull an old school on folks. Yup! The GOP party does not want to share the power. Nope! They are trying to do everything in their power to make sure that America is run by ONE party with obstruction and suppression. They are dead set on reaching that goal. If Americans sit back and let them...that is.

They plan on taking us back so far in history by changing laws and the Constitution. Already, you can see in states where the Republicans are governors how they are at work and have tried to accomplish some of it. What's sad is that the majority of the GOP party wouldn't know the Constitution if it was staring them in the face or wrote down on every wall and sidewalk in America. But I betcha they could tell you every single detail on green paper money because they sold themselves to the highest bidder.

I couldn't even stomach their debates because it was more like watching spoof. To tell you the truth, I think my one year old great-granddaughter would run circles around them in the intellect department. BTW, she watched it with me. She tugged on my arm, pointed to them, threw her hand up facing the tv, and said, "Talk to the hand!" And requested that I put on Yo Gabba Gabba.

BTW, that Penn State incident with the child molester really upset me. You mean to tell me adults witnessed those incidents and did not say a mumbling word. What kind of people are they that witnessed it, but kept silent? They need to fire every last one of them. When adults stands back and let another adult sodomize a child, they are not worth two dead flies in my book. There are some really sick people out there and children are not safe. There is no way I could have stood back, witnessed something like that, and kept silent. Nope!

Not one, but FOUR different women accused your husband of inappropriate sexual behavior, and I hate to be the carrier of bad news, but lady, your husband cheated on you.

Herman Cain is hoping that this problem will go away before his wife finds out and faces the truth. However, it's not! Nope! I understand how painful a situation like this can be for a woman who has spent 40 something years of her life with a man and later on find out that he wasn't faithful.

That can be a devastating situation. In some cases it could turn out to be an Al Green or Madea moment depending on the women and how she reacts to it. Herman better hope Gloria don't have no hot grits on the stove when she finds out the truth. Sometimes the calm comes just before the storm. I'm just saying!

Nevertheless, the sad part about this whole scenario is that her husband is deceiving her and it is going to hurt her more when she discovers that. What's even sadder is that she probably already suspects that he is lying, but does not want to believe it. It would hurt too much. She wants to continue to believe that he loves her too much to cheat on her or lie to her. I won't say that he does not love her. In fact, I'm sure he does. However, that does not stop him from being a womanizer behind her back, especially if he has been getting away with it for forty something years.

I agree with Taylor because that is a fact of life. Sometimes the hunter gets captured by the game. And in this case the game has Cain cornered with no way out. The longer it takes for him to come clean, the worser the whole ordeal is going to get.

I sincerely feel sorry for Gloria Cain and any other woman or man that has a cheating spouse. And I pray that she is strong enough in her faith that she has the strength to get through it. Because when the truth comes to the light, she is definitely going to need a rock to lean on.

As for Herman, he is more than likely wishing that he could turn back the hands of time. If he was innocent, his lawyer wouldn't have sent out threats to the other women that might have came forth as well. He might temporarily have his wife fooled for now, but he does not have people on the outside looking in fooled.

Looks like Cain has some more problems as well with those Tea Party folks. Adam blamed Eve, and I wonder who Cain will blame now?

Trigger Happy Police At Oakland Occupy Wall Street

What is wrong with the Oakland Police? Are they suffering from fatigue or just plain old trigger happy? From the looks of this video, it was no reason to shoot the camera man. This is the third shooting that has been inflicted on those using no violence. Two Iraq soldiers and now the camera man has become a victim. Is Oakland a police state or rather city now?

I suspect the Oakland mayor had better forget about reelection. For those of you planning to go to Oakland Occupy Wall Street, it would be wise to invest in a bullet proof vest and helmet.

Evidently, hustling Uncle Herman Cain Ruckas never listened to Johnny Taylor's it's Cheaper to Keep Her. Oops, scratch that, I forgot Cain is another Clarence Thomas. Maybe, he should listen to Hank Williams Your Cheating Heart. The number of women are rising in Herman's case. Looks like there is a fourth one.

Well...I need to stock up on my popcorn because something tells me that this is one of those show and tale movements. In some ways, it's like watching the clowns perform at the circus. Although, I hate to say it, but it's something a little fishy about the blond and Cain drama. Although, Cain looks like the type that would pull that type of mess.

I knew it wouldn't take long for Hal Turner's pal Sean Hannity to bring out Grand Matron Ann Coulter of the Council of Conservative Citizens alias KKK. After all, Hannity is a a staunch defender of racist, but then he is a die-hard, bigot himself. Apparently, Coulter thinks that she is an authority on black people.

Not too long ago, she was an authority on racial profiling. Yup, she said racial profiling was a hoax. I got news for her, there are many black and brown people that think that old Annie needs to quit sipping on Gin and Juice or whatever it is she might be gulping down or snorting because she is beginning to remind folks of that "this is an egg, this Ann's brain" commercial.

In addition, Ann made some rather disturbing comment regarding a few things:

I wonder how she got out of those voter fraud registration cases of hers. A Sugar Daddy, maybe? Must have been fixed, so she wouldn't have to spend any time in the pokey. Nevertheless, Ann is noted for quite a few color aroused comments. Like the one where she said,

That's a good example of modern day white privilege with added accessories on it. Ann is well aware of her white privilege and doesn't mind flaunting it. Hey, come to think of it Pat Buchanan is quick to say black and brown folks are inferior. He too is a member of that Council of Conservatives Citizens, so you do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out Ann's way of thinking regarding non-whites.

Back before the Civil Rights Movement took place, whites who murdered blacks that were tried in the so-called court of law back then would come to court smiling, joking, and laughing, and the jury would be grinning too. It didn't matter how much evidence was presented. In fact, it wouldn't have mattered if they had killed a black person in the court house in front of the sheriff, judge, jury, and citizens. Emmit Till's murderers went free and so did many others.

The GOP Shell Game

Alrighty, GOP party I think the people are starting to get the message. Your party wants the middleclass and poor people to pay more taxes, so you can give fat refund checks to billionaire and millionaires to supplement their fat bonus checks. Because when you get right down to it, and cut through the chase, that is exactly what your party is asking and campaigning for daily.

Rick Perry wants to give billionaires and millionaires a $500,000 tax break. Herman Cain has a 999 plan that helps the rich too and makes the middleclass and poor pay more. In fact, all of the GOP candidates as well as those who are already serving has been on one accord with giving the billionaires and millionaires more money, while squeezing the blood out of the average Joe and Jill.

In addition, the GOP wants to cut funding for schools, so that more dummies like them are churned out. You want to privatize grandma and grandpa's check, so that investors can get their grubby little hands on it and invest in deals that there's no guarantee are stable in profits and a steady flow of money. Sorta like how the people lost a lot of money on their 401K. In other words, risk your retirement fund playing something similar to Russian Roulette.

On your list of things of wants is deregulate more, so that people will die sooner from pollution in the air and contaminated water. Drill more, so that accidents like the gulf coast can kill our marine life.

There is one thing, I'm curious about. If the GOP cuts 1.2 trillion worth of programs, what will our taxes be used for? I pray that it is not Congress salary. In fact, cutting the Congress retirement pensions would really trim the budget. In fact, a big fat pay cut as well wouldn't hurt either along with some cuts to their medical benefits. They should contribute more money into their medical plan too. Eliminate those long paid vacations they seem to take too many of as well. The Congress needs to share in the pain for once instead of bypassing themselves. Everytime they take time off to close for months at a time, it should be leave without pay.
The Occupy Wall Streets Folks should be gathering up signatures to put that on the next election ballots in every single state. Not only that, signatures to end lobbying and to make it against the law for CEO's to receive big fat bonus checks and put a cap on those bonuses by knocking off a few of those zeroes. Don't leave out making it against the law to outsource jobs and still get tax credits.

I borrowed this picture from over at jobsangers blog. I love dropping by and reading his blog because he is a man of few words, but in those few words he delivers a powerful message using images that speak a thousand words every single time. A newer blog that I like stopping by and checking out is Mack Lyons over at "Different Day, Same Shit." Lyons exposes the deception, breaks it down, and enlightens his readers. Both are true warriors against injustice in my book, so I just wanted to give them their props.

This post is not about President Bush. Nope! However, it is about some of those folks on the right and a little of this and a little of that. Birds of feather do flock together, so why wouldn't Jigging, Hustling, Uncle Ruckas Cain have a crooked campaign aide for a manager. After all, Cain is what I would call...well... a venal character who is willing to sell out his own group of people to get ahead...another Clarence Thomas.

I'm reminded of that scripture when I see Cain, "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, but to lose his soul." Frankly, I believe Cain lost his soul a long time ago when he was affiliated with Enron or maybe even before that.

Some of you folks running around here telling black folks that they are brainwashed and on a plantation because they vote for Democrats had better take note from the case in which the brotha got paid $5.2 million for being called a slave.

It is time to discard and put an end to racism.

When Martin Luther King marched, he wasn't just marching for black folks. Nope! He was marching for humanity. Because racism is one of the strongest forms of hate that smothers the life out of humanity and freedom. Every single human being on this earth should be entitled to pursue happiness and prosperity without obstructions. It is a legal right of all Americans.

Which brings me to voter suppression being attempted in Texas the land gun toting governor Rick Perry. This time it is aimed at Hispanics. Next, I guess, will be other minorities who are citizens in this country. Folks voter suppression is serious because this was how they eased Jim Crow in after reconstruction. Suppressed votes helps enable them to get their people in office and keep out the people's choice.

Oakland Chief of Police is protecting his men, and why are we not surprised. That's normal procedure when those in the blue mess up. However, this statement here was a little too much and tells me someone is trying to avoid a possible lawsuit.

Ah hem...Rick Perry hinted around to President Obama's birth certificate claiming it was joke. Yup, I reckon it was one of those good ole boys, good natured "colored" jokes regarding the birther theory. The birther theory did not sit right with a lot of folks and people thought that we had moved on from that after the Donald Trump embarrassment.

Well... now, Perry has folks wondering about his own family tree. I mean it does sort of raised eyebrows a little bit, especially with a family ranch called "Niggerhead" and him not to long ago threatening to secede from the union when President Obama (a black man) was elected.

Anyway, the secessionist governor should have left stirring the pot to the women folks because looks like he keeps making a big mess in the kitchen. Which leads up to why people have a question for Perry regarding his family tree. (pssst...Gun toting, secessionist governor ought to withdraw now because things is fixing to get ugly).

But now Perry is not the only one that might have some splaining to do. Nope! That little sneaky grifter, Representative Paul Ryan should explain to us why he is trying to fatten his families coffers at the expense of Grandma and Grandpa, poor deprived children, and all average citizens of America. Instead of running around town making up lies and saying that the GOP party is concerned about all us average citizens. Ryan we know that average citizen to you means billionaires and millionaires.

Shouldn't he be explaining to us why he is still trying to run a con game and get his "Looking Out For His Family ONLY bill" over on people. I think that Ryan has gotten so caught up in his own con game that he is actually starting to believe it himself.

Let's not forget, jigging, hustling, Uncle Ruckas Herman Cain. Someone needs to look and see if Hustler Cain has some ancestors that owned slaves in his family tree because Hustling Uncle Ruckas evidently believes in free labor. He does not want to pay employees minimum wage and thinks it should be lower. Just when I thought that Cain couldn't get any lower on the scale of self-hating negroes. Apparently, Uncle Ruckas likes to be called "Cornbread." And could one of his latest campaign ads with the slave shack and supposedly slaves be in reality a hint to free labor?

Is Oakland Occupy Wall Street Our Kent State University Moment?

Did the "Oakland Occupy Wall Street" protesters break any windows downtown Oakland or were they looters? Did they commit any violent act? Nope! They did not. In fact, they were so peaceful you would have hardly knew they were there accept for the signs and the small corner space they occupied.

Did they chant too loud or throw bricks at the police? What exactly did they do to deserve an Iraq war veteran winding up in critical condition?

Back in the 50's, 60's, and 70's people were protesting left and right about the injustices and war. Black folks were protesting discrimination and unjust laws, people were protesting a war in Vietnam that should not have been as it is the same with all wars that the rich start, but want the poor people to do their fighting for them. One protest that remains embedded in my mind that winded up like the one in Oakland was the Kent State University Massacre.

The other protests were just as violent and more so, but it was not the people protesting who committed the violence. It was those who were supposed to protect and serve the citizens of the United States of America who were the violent ones. History repeated itself yesterday at the "Oakland Occupy Wall Street."

What did Iraq vet Scott Olsen do to deserve to wind up like this for protesting an injustice against all of the average citizens of America?

Is this supposed to happen to American citizens for demonstrating peacefully against injustices in America? Our taxes pay those who are supposed to protect and serve us salaries, but we are not paying their salaries for them to commit violent acts against citizens whose only crime is that they are speaking out against injustice in a peaceful manner.

Are we to believe that "The Land of the free" is not so free at all and that we are to be subjected to a Gestapo like atmosphere where our citizens can be shot down like dogs in the streets and bombed with tear gas by those that are to protect and serve us for speaking up for our rights and justice?

Yesterday, I passed by the "Oakland Occupy Wall Street" and there was nothing out of order, no one throwing bricks through business windows, no one torching a business, no one throwing bricks and bottles at the police. In fact, you would have hardly noticed them if you did not see the signs letting you know what they were there for.

I haven't been blogging for the last few days because I hadn't been feeling well. I came down with the flu, so I've been trying to get some rest and take care of myself. Apparently, while I was away and hadn't checked my blog for comments, the trolls have been busy. The trolls came from FieldNegro's blog and they had been flooding his blog with a bunch of BS.

Trolls over at Field's blog have been highjacking bloggers' handles. One of the trolls over at field's highjacked my handled and wrote that I was voting for Cain, which is the biggest lie! The troll who wrote it is bold and has some type of computer knowledge because they signed in with my name in blue to make it look somewhat legit, while I was there.

I would never ever vote for that hustling idiot Herman Cain. Nor would I vote for anyone on the Republican ticket.

The Republican party and the Koch Brothers has become so desperate until they are paying people to flood progressives liberal Democrat blogs with their assinine games, confusion, and cheating behinds. They are wasting their time playing that dung on my blog. I plan to put a quick end to it! As soon as I am feeling better. One thing I will not tolerate is a lot of confusion.

Every time I hear Negroes like Allen West and Herman Cain, I begin to wonder just how many Negroes do the Koch Brothers have on their payroll. Have you noticed how stunning statements have become a pattern and trademark of those working for the Koch Brothers?

For example, first, it was Michelle Bachmann, after her, it was Rick Perry, next Herman Cain, and now Allen West is jumping in with a remark that is totally stupid and insulting to OWL protest, the average taxpayer, and unemployed.

Exactly, how many palms have the Koch Brothers greased with moolah and how much money is it? Think about how lately progressive blogs have been flooded with trolls left and right cheerleading for the GOP trying to intimidate and harass folks to vote for a Republican candidate. Lately, the GOP pick has been Herman the Hustler Cain.

We already know that the majority of the GOP Congress is on their payroll. Just how much bribery money has the Koch Brothers been spreading around to take control of our government? There is a lot at stake this time called Democracy and freedom. Don't sleep through this election did the last one.

The Tales of Two Different Black Men

Amanda Knox is free and will more than likely get an offer for a book and possibly a movie. Her parents and loved ones are relieved and glad that she won't spend time in jail or be executed or however Italy handles convictions in murder cases. The media seemed to celebrate her release. All that is grand, with the exception of one thing...what about Diya "Patrick" Lumumba?

Lumumba,the African man, who spent two weeks in jail, lost his business behind the lie that Amanda told implicating him as the one who killed her roommate. Yet, Lumumba was innocent! In America, we hear about whites accusing Black and Hispanic people of crimes that they themselves committed all the time. Yup! That old "The black guy or Hispanic guy did it" lie. Nothing new there, that's been going on since the antebellum days.

Lumumba was awarded 40,000 euros, which is $55,370.98 in American money for damages, but the man lost his business, which Amanda was employed at. Because of the lie and notoriety caused by Amanda's lie his business shut down soon after he was released from jail. A black man cannot make a decent living without someone like Amanda trying to tear him down. Smh!

Now, his lawyer said that Lumumba is barely able to support his wife and baby. More than likely,a good majority of his award went to pay his lawyer's fees. Nevertheless, Amanda will probably become wealthy from some book deal and possibly a movie to tell her story. Another American psuedo heroine... But what about Lumumba and his family? Will he be offered a book deal to make up for his lost?

The subject of why won't I vote for Herman Cain came up. Well...let me take the time out to answer that question. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin because that's a non issue in my book because the last 40 something Presidents were white and I voted for many of them and would vote for another white one if I like their position on policies. Color preferences for Presidents is a white thing, not a black one. Nevertheless, I refuse to let anyone intimidate me into voting for someone because some of my people died for me to have the right to vote. Therefore, I take my voting rights very serious.

Nor do I have a problem with people who think different from me. Anyway, no two people think alike. However, I do have a problem with a black man who jigs and denigrates his own people in order to get ahead in life. Moreover, I have a problem with a black man who mimics the same talking points of white supremacist and those trying to maintain it. We live in a diverse nation, this is not an all white nation. There are no superior human beings. That is a myth! It goes against the grain of "All Men Were Created Equal."

Cain reminds me of a scene in that movie "The Color Purple" in an odd sort of way. Granny pauses...changes and adds some words to the script. The scene with Celie and Sophia comes to my mind:

"You told white folks] to [denigrate us black folks]!"

"All my life I had to fight[for my civil rights]."

"I had to fight[discrimination]."

"I had to fight[Jim Crow laws]."

"I had to fight[unjust laws]."

"[Black folks] ain't safe in [a land of white supremacist filled with hate]."

As for those who claim that Black folks who support Democrats are on a plantation. Well...I'll put it like this. I'd rather stay on the Democrat plantation because the massuhs on the Republican plantation flog their Black folks in public for all to see like they did Cain, Michael Steele, and all of their other Black Republicans when they speak up against the right's wrongdoings. On the Democrat plantation they allow us the freedom to speak the truth and are not trying to starve us to death or make us homeless, or do away with grandma and grandpa in order to feed the greed of the most wealthy in our nation.

If a black man cannot stand on his own merits and the only way his party will accept him is if he denigrates Blacks and pushes the white supremacist agenda, he is not Presidential material. He is nothing but a puppet on a string and an Uncle Ruckas. Too many people, Black and white lost their lives fighting for ALL people to have a right to vote and have civil rights. Martin Luther King said that the fight for civil rights wasn't just for black folks it was for white folks too! Our nation should be trying to go forward, not backwards!

Skin Deep?

In keeping with this blog's recent focus on "race" and "color," I want to extend the conversation around these two volatile topics.

In a previous blog entry, Mr. Francis Holland examined how color and race converge to create what he identifies as "Extreme Color Aroused Disorder," and the social pathology that has emerged around it--that the Disorder manifests itself, not so much as a difference in kind, but as a difference of degree.

I thought I would take a speculative look at the major element in this pathology around race--"color" itself.

What if we could eliminate "color" from the equation, from the racial construct, would this act alone make considerations along the colorline obsolete?

As science progresses, this possibility will become more and more a reality for those of us who would like to minimize "color aroused" responses in our daily lives, or eliminate them altogether.

The obvious question arises: If you're African American, would you undergo an extensive color-altering transformation--or impose it on your children--if it meant less "racial drama" in their lives or yours?

For some, this decision has already been made, well in advance of the science, as this video clip from the Tyra Banks Show so painfully reveals. Warning: Their reasons may shock you!

Growing up in the South years ago, racism in one form or another, was a daily reminder that color (and that primarily) kept me from fully participating in the larger white society--from where I could sit in a theater, if I was able to sit at all, to where I was allowed to eat, sleep, or relieve myself.

As a child, I often dreamed of how my live might be experienced, if such impediments didn't exist.

I wasn't angry with the color I was born with--the color that nature had given me--but with those who used my color to restrict, discriminate against, and to deprive me of the things they enjoyed by virtue of their whiteness.

If color is the determinant that arouses racial bigotry, what if we got rid of color altogether? How many of us would be game for that?

Let me state the question again: Should African Americans, generally, endorse such a plan (to lighten their skin color), if it meant less racial tension? One thing's for sure, whites aren't going to tan themselves much darker than "Coppertone" to rid the nation of varying degrees of "color arousal." If it's going to be done, African Americans will have to undergo this color-altering treatment.

One thing's for sure: With advancements in genetics, it won't be long before Scientists, using genetic engineering, have the means to alter skin color as readily as they "determine a smile or the shape of [a] nose."

"Designer babies," and color-reduction treatments that could forever change the color of our skin, are not things of science fiction, but are in our ever-drawing-nearer future.

On one television program, a video of a preteen black girl with vitiligo was shown. I gaped, as she went, over a period of months, from being a young black girl to a young white girl, much like the young black girl in the illustration at the top of this blog entry.

As a followup, let me ask another question: Is color and racism only skin deep?

Consider a real-life story of how the color of her skin "reclassified" Sandra Laing, a child of white parents, as "colored" in South Africa's unforgiving apartheid system. Made into a movie, Laing's story brings home the insanity of using color to differentiate people, and to use that differentiation to maintain a system of racial purity, and separation.

" 'Skin' is a fictionalized retelling of the true and terrible story of Sandra Laing, a South African woman whose race was classified and reclassified by the government, then in the mad grip of apartheid. Born in 1955 to officially white parents, Ms. Laing...was judged white. But when the child entered the larger world, her darker skin, and especially her tightly curled black hair, marked her as different. Elizabeth And Hazel: Two Women of Little Rock

I'd like to take the time out to recommend a book. Normally, I am not in the habit of doing this. However, this is apart of our history, and our history is important, especially in this day and age. Therefore, here are some excerpts from the book "Elizabeth and Hazel."

Prologue: Two Dresses

Early in the morning of September 4, 1957, two girls in Little Rock, Arkansas, each fifteen years old, dressed for school.

On a block of black families nestled in the west side of town, in the small brick house she shared with her parents and five brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Eckford put on a skirt that her older sister, Anna, and she had made just for this day. The immaculate white cotton pique felt cool and soft to the touch; when Elizabeth and Anna, who had labored over it for several weeks, had run out of fabric, they'd trimmed the deep hem with navy blue and white gingham. The new skirt's double rows of gathers made it seem to have tiny pleats, and it appeared especially crisp because Elizabeth had ironed it one last time the night before. Buoyed by the petticoat she wore underneath, it encircled her tiny waist like a bell – one that rang out the tidings of new beginnings. Fashionable and yet modest, descending well below her knees, the pretty skirt was complemented by the rest of what she had chosen to wear that morning: the plain white blouse (which she'd also made), the loafers, the bobby sox. She could just as easily have been going to church, and in a way she was, because for Elizabeth, learning was much more meaningful, and useful, than prayer.

A few miles away, in a house much like Elizabeth's but in a neighborhood that was all white, Hazel Bryan selected something very different. It was a sleek dress of cool mint-green, with a triangular white sash at the top pointing suggestively to her bosom, and a ribbon tied provocatively around her midriff.

She'd bought it a few months earlier at one of the "classy" department stores downtown, maybe Blass or Pfeiffer's, with around ten of the scarce dollars her mother earned making lightbulbs at Westinghouse. Hazel wasn't signaling the start of an earnest new undertaking so much as making a fashion statement: taking her cues from Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Elizabeth Taylor, and the other movie stars she followed, Hazel hoped to show off her petite figure, to look older and more sophisticated and maybe more promiscuous than she really was. She wanted to impress her girlfriends, but with any luck the boys forever hovering around her would notice, too. (That the dress was a mite too tight would help.) She'd worn the dress before, probably earlier in the summer. Then again, for Hazel this day wasn't quite as special as it was for Elizabeth. Like all of the white kids, she'd begun school the day before, unperturbed by the soldiers who encircled it, and she had been at this particular school for a year already.

Two girls, one black, one white, born less than four months apart, each about to begin eleventh grade. Within a few minutes of each other, they set out for the same destination: Little Rock Central High School. They did not know, nor – in the world of the South in the 1950s – would they have ever encountered, each other before, except perhaps when they rode the same buses or passed on a downtown street or sat – on different levels – in a local movie theater. But within an hour or so they would, and from that moment on, their lives would be inextricably intertwined. For long after that – as long, in fact, as the tortured saga of relations between the races, in the United States and everywhere else, still mattered, or as long, when it came right down to it, as people can see – they would be linked.

When Hazel got home that afternoon, she took off the dress and changed into something more comfortable – boy's jeans, perhaps; they didn't yet make them for girls – and hung it up for the next time. Doubtless, there would be many next times – dances, dates, more school days – to put it on. But when Elizabeth removed her skirt that night, then folded it up and handed it to her mother, she already knew she would never wear it, or even want to see it, again. As everyone else was coming to recognize it – for a time, that simple cotton skirt was just about the most famous piece of clothing in the world – Elizabeth set out to forget about it. It promptly went into the attic, and no one – Elizabeth included – ever laid eyes on it again.

Nostalgia Or History Repeating Itself?

Looks like overseer Herman Cain made some more gains in the polls today.  "A pizza on every table and unemployed person in every pot."~Loki ~~ Now, I have to give it to that commenter on Huffingtonpost, but that comment does not just apply to Cain. It applies to Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republicans, and they need to quit playing politics with people's livelihood.

Cain is making some of those color aroused folks happy with his demeaning comments about black folks. Why does the Republican party always parade out those Uncle Ruckas type of black men? Why do black Republicans believe that they  have to do a jig for those on the right and put down black folks to score political points? Whatever happened to freedom in being who you are instead of another Uncle Ruckas? Well...it really doesn't matter because Cain will be discarded pretty soon. That is after the Republican party gets through using him to demean us black folks.

What part does Cain not understand that the reason the Republicans are having a hissy fit now, tryna cheat, is so they can get President Obama out the White House by any means necessary? It has something to do with "NO BLACK ASSES WANTED in the WHITE House. That's a sacrilege in the minds of those folks. Someone needs to send Cain a message written in WHITE crayola and tell him that.  Maybe, then he will get the message. Blacks already have had to deal with more color arousal than we've had to deal since slavery and Jim Crow from those crazy people on the right.

He should take a hint from the way that they treated Michael Steele. I liked Steele too, although, we didn't agree politically, because he was funny when he got all hip hop on us. In addition, Steele did try to feed black folks. Y'all know black folks show up in full force whenever food is free. Steele should have gave a barbeque instead because black folks is tired of fried chicken. If Steele would have offered free barbeque, granny would have showed up to eat too.

Now looks like everyone has gotten all nostalgia on us. Folks protesting left and right just like they did in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.   The Republicans are trying to cheat like the Congress did after Reconstruction when they got rid of all of those black folks up in Congress, suppressed minority votes, and eased Jim Crow back in. The Police have went back to acting like slave patrollers. We got some folks shooting up people like they did when oil and gold was discovered and lawlessness was in the land. Billionaires and Millionares are trying their best to turn America into a serfdom system. The Republican Congress is trying to send grandpa and grandma to the poor house and have poor houses like they had back in the early 1900s.

Hey, the name "Godfather's Pizza" does fit right for the GOP thugs 4 life party though now that I think about it. After all, we know who the real thugs are don't we.

"The Fallacy of 'Race' and the Menace of Extreme Color Aroused Disorder (ECAD)"

When we understand that biological “race” simply does not exist, then we begin to look for language and terms that communicate the discrimination we face in our everyday lives. I wanted terms that were not linguistic derivatives of the root word “race,” because “race” doesn’t exist as a matter of science and it is hopelessly confused with science when we use the term in sociology.

The fact is that when we see our own skin color and perceive the skin color of others, we have been carefully trained to call upon color-aroused ideation, which leads to color-aroused emotion, and all too frequently leads to color-aroused behavior. People whose minds work this way to an extent that they are severely impaired in one or more key areas of their lives suffer from Extreme Color Aroused Disorder.

As I began my book on this topic, I discussed it with a friend who has white skin here in Brazil. She told me the story of another friend whose father disowned her because he discovered that she had a Black boyfriend. Rather than be intimidated by her father’s color-aroused ideation, emotion and behavior, the white woman moved in with her brown-skinned boyfriend as soon as they arrived at the same college.

The white father was livid. When the young white woman and her Black spouse married and had a child, the white father did not go to the wedding and did not speak to his daughter for ten years. . . until he was diagnosed with cancer, his wife had died, and he had no one to take care of him.

At that point, the white father was compelled to accept the financial and personal help of his brown son-in-law. They never discussed the issue that had kept them separated for a decade. Instead , they discussed their common interests in soccer. When the white-skinned father saw his grandchild for the first time, he was overcome with emotion and cried as he held her. In those moments, he clearly saw how his Extreme Color Aroused Disorder had cheated him out of his daughter and his granddaughter for a decade, which was time that could never be recovered in the time the white father had left.

You will never hear the public discuss benign, moderate and severe racism, because racism is not a scientific field of inquiry, like stage four cancer. Racism, we believe, is so awful that it is always at its worst, and so we refuse even to admit the idea that some cases, like the one above, are worse than others.

When we discuss color-aroused disorder, we do make reference to its severity, be it benign, moderate or severe. Color Aroused Disorder is severe when it causes an individual to, for example:

· Confront strangers on the street on the basis of their skin color, risking bodily harm to themselves or criminal charges against themselves;

·        Engage in any color-aroused criminal activity that risks loss of social status, liberty, family contacts, income and professional maintenance and advancement;
·        Causes a family member to reject other family members based on their interactions with people of a different skin color;
·        lose a job because of color-aroused antagonism toward co-workers, supervisors and/or those one supervises;
·        Loose opportunities to find a suitable marital partner because of color-aroused ideation, emotion and behavior, often reinforced by pressure from family, social group and others.
·        causes an employer to be subject to civil fines as a result of a worker participation in“ noose-play,” color-associated epithets, and causes a hostile work environment
·        under cutting other employees in a manner that leads to decreased productivity;
·        Shoot co-workers because they interact without regard to skin color differences;
·        Be referred to “sensitivity training” because of on-the-job color-aroused antagonism toward others.

The list of ways to express Extreme Color Aroused Disorder is very long, especially compared to the paucity of psychiatric services designed to treat the disorder. Doug Williams was a white-skinned Lockheed employee with a years-long history of antagonizing both white and brown-skinned employees, because he didn’t believe the “races” should mix. Here it is clear that part of the ideation that led to his illness was the belief that distinct races existed in the first place.

After years of treating Doug Williams’ on-the-job color-aroused harassment of others as a mild form of color arousal, Lockheed ordered Doug Williams to participate in a sensitivity training in which he would be in close quarters with Blacks and whites from his workplace.

A psychiatrist should have been brought in to screen Doug for color-aroused disorder. Had a competent psychiatrist been involved, the doctor would quickly have realized that Doug Williams was already far too sensitive to his and others’ skin colors in his environment. Additional “sensitivity” would be reckless and dangerous, because it could push Doug over the edge, unless it was carried out in a facility where Mr., Williams would not pose a safety risk to himself and others.

Instead, Lockheed assumed that ‘all racism is the same.’ They apparently did not consult a competent color-aroused disorder specialist psychiatrist about Doug’s color-aroused ideation (e.g. pro-segregation),and emotion (fury), and behavior (physically confronting co-workers about heterochromatic friendships).

Doug Williams entered the training session, returned to his car for his gun, and shot several co-workers, including some with white skin and some with brown skin. Then Doug turned the weapon upon himself and committed suicide.

Extreme Color Aroused Disorder is the most dangerous both to the sufferer and to those around him. The two cases recounted above should make it clear that color-aroused disorder is not a disorder in which there is a culprit and a victim. An individual with Extreme Color-Aroused Disorder sometimes does as much harm to himself—professionally and personally—as he does to those whom he targets.

People with Extreme Color Aroused Disorder share many of the symptoms of people with other psychiatric illnesses, such as:

· constant alertness to color-arousing stimuli in the environment

·        constant stress over the “risk” that Blacks will advance, combined sometimes with the ideation that Blacks advancement is degrades white people;
·        Uncontrolled anger and fury that leads to crimes, including hate crimes, that jeopardize the victim’s liberty;
·        Inability to advance in a profession, e.g. politics, because past expressions of color-aroused hatred and disrespect make the individual clearly unfit for public office;
·        sociopathic lack of empathy for others based on skin color;
·        Inability to see their own behavior as the source of their thinking, feeling and behavioral problems associated with skin color.

Sixty years after we began talking about “racism,” we are still debating whether a Black person can be “racist.” Instead, we should be asking whether a Black person’s Extreme Color Aroused Disorder can render Black person’s life ineffective and unmanageable. When I told my niece I was writing a book on this subject, she introduced me to a Black woman whose situation provided the answer quite clearly. The woman explained that she was extremely sensitive to observing interactions between Black men and white women.

She said that:

·        Black men should go out with Black women;
·        It was a personal put –down to her when she saw a Black man who had chosen a white woman instead;
·        When she went to clubs, she was hyper-sensitive and hyper-vigilant to heterochromatic couples involving a Black man and a white woman;
·        When she saw such couples, even though they were strangers, she felt compelled to confront the white woman and the Black man, which often lead to fights that could get her arrested, and thereby make it impossible for her to go to work;
·        The issue came to dominate her life to the extent that she fought in the family home with her brown-skinned brother about his white girlfriend, and this caused a dramatic inability for her to continue her otherwise close relationship with her own brother;
·        She felt low self-esteem because she was not chosen by Black men;
·        Her life was in a downward spiral in which she could not control her behavior toward heterochromatic couples in public, she could not form or maintain a relationship with a Black man, and she felt lousy about her own weight and her personhood.

In this case, issues of skin color had come to dominate her life to a degree that she was imminently at risk of being arrested for her confrontations with strangers in bars and clubs. Yes, she and people like her sometimes cause pervasive hardship for couples who do not share a skin color. But, the obsession with this issue—the ideation, emotion and behavior—were robbing this Black woman of the quality of her own life. She needed urgent psychiatric help from a competent, knowledgeable and experienced Color Arousal Disorder professional in order to:

·        make herself safe from potentially dangerous confrontations, and
·        learn to value herself regardless of what choices some Black men make, and
·        Forgive her brother for having a white girlfriend, if only to continue to have a relationship with her brother, whom she valued and with whom she lived in harmony, until he dated a white woman.

Debate this endlessly as a political issue, if you must, but also acknowledge that it can become a fundamental psychiatric issue, based on our awareness of our own skin color and our perception of the skin colors of others. There are far too many examples of Extreme Color-Aroused Disorder leading to ruthless and notorious murders for us to continue endlessly talking about “racism” without acknowledging the daily toll that Extreme Color Aroused Disorder takes on Blacks, whites and the American “family.”

Fox News Wants To Tar & Feather Black Men

Van Jones is an intelligent, decent, and hard working young black man. The young man has some very innovative and creative ideas and an awful lot to offer to our society. I pray that he gets to use and make his contribution of those talents to our society.

Back when the Jim Crow laws were in effect, Southern whites got away with threatening and murdering blacks because the law was on their side and a lot of times the law was an active participants in those crimes against blacks. Blacks had no recourse as far as the law was concerned. Sometimes you can't help but wonder if those Jim Crow laws are silently in effect, now, because not too long ago Fox Nation had these pictures on display:

I don't remember anyone in the black community giving Rush Limbaugh any honorary brotha recognition. Evidently, that Oxycontin has him thinking that he can define who is black and who isn't. Instead he should be rushing out to the nearest Weight Watchers to reduce that fat that he passes off as his brain instead of assuming that he can define who is a real black man and who isn't.

Rush had the audacity to say that President Obama is not a real black man and that Herman Cain is a real black man. What Rush subtly implied is that President Obama is not a true American, he is somehow hint, hint...a foreigner. Smh!

I've always had a sneaking suspicion the Bill O'Reilly was an arrogant doofus without a clue, but now without a doubt, he has proved it with his statement, "That African Americans have been brainwashed by "welfare entitlements" to vote for Democrats." I hate to be the one to rain on O'Reilly's parade, but blacks stopped getting welfare entitlements when Bill Clinton was President.

I guess, O'Reilly's small mind has a problem connecting the dots and figuring out that the hatemongers such as the Jim Crow TeaNuts, Council of Conservative Citizens, FAIR, neo-Nazis and other hate groups might have something to do with it. And that Republicans parading out one or two ass-kissing, yes massa, black men does not all of a sudden convince black folks to vote for Republicans.

Nor do I think that patronizing Sylvia's, a black restaurant one time, and his wife being laid in the past by Flava Flav, a black man qualifies O'Reilly as an expert on the psychology of black folks. Truthfully speaking, O'Reilly should focused in on getting his business straight on his home front, instead of always trying to dip his big nose into black folk's business.

Let's not forget about the ~~Grand Wizard of the KKK~~, Pat Buchanan who agrees with ~~overseer~~ Herman Cain comment about blacks being brainwashed. Why are we black folks not surprised since ole Pat has expressed in the past that he pretty much believes the Bell Curve Theory. Moreover, Pat, thinks that blacks should be grateful for slavery and years of oppression.

Nevertheless, I'd like to give a shout out to the Wall Street protesters. In addition, I'd like to give one to the Pelican Bay Protesters who are protesting torture at Pelican Bay Prison.

Affirmative Action Lessons For Dummies!

I do not know where people get the idea that Affirmative Action means incompetent or dumb. That is so far from the truth and is a misguided notion and myth that those who want to end it came up with as an obstruction block to prevent the advancement of minorities.

Affirmative Action implemented to open doors shut to minorities in the past. It did not give anyone who was not qualified entrance into Colleges or Universities or enable anyone without qualifications for a particular job. The applicant was still required to have a certain GPA for admittance or qualifications for a particular job.

There were no automatic good grades issued because of minority status. Once in the door, black students had to earn their grades the same way any white student did by studying and doing the work. More was required of minorities than was of white students in order to receive decent grade in classes. Therefore, minorities had to work harder while going an extra mile to achieve a grade above a "C". Unfortunately, white teachers did not exactly roll out the red carpet and say, “You’re black, so you get an “A” or “B” or pass or graduate. It did not work that way.

For some reason, the Republicans just don't get it, but then again, they've always been against anything that they felt would help black people or people different from them. So true to their discriminatory nature, some Republican students at California University of Berkeley have decided to have a racist cupcake sale. No, I am not kidding. They've put an anouncement on facebook and sent out flyers to announce that it will be held on September 27, 2011.

They plan to sale cupcakes at what they consider discrimination prices by race. Of course, whites will have to pay more and Blacks and Natives Americans will have to pay less to buy one of their cupcakes. If you do not come out and buy one of their cupcakes you will be considered racist. They seem to think that whites are the most deprived, underprivileged, and discriminated race in America and the cupcakes are their way of demonstrating this. According, to their announcement this cupcake sale is to promote diversity. However, the cupcake sale main purpose is to protest Affirmative Action.

Rocking the Boat?

Today, I was reading about Iran's President Mahmound Ahmadinejah's speech at the UN. Apparently, a lot of folks got upset with him and walked out on his speech. Ahmadinejah can be a little hot-headed and make some comments that will have people blinking their eyes wide open as in shock; one of those "Did he really say that" moments. And...he has this wild notion about the Holocaust that is NOT true. But...well...

What I'm trying to say folks is this, did he lie in his speech at the UN meeting? Okay, let's see, this is what he said:

"Ahmadinejad's speech pitted the poverty and unhappiness of most countries against the riches and power of the U.S. and unnamed European nations that he accused of perpetuating wars, causing the current global economic crisis and infringing on "the rights and sovereignty of nations."
He attacked the United States and European colonial powers for abducting tens of millions of Africans and making them slaves, for their readiness "to drop thousands of bombs on other countries," and for dominating the U.N. Security Council He singled out the U.S. for using a nuclear bomb against Japan in World War II and imposing and supporting military dictatorships and totalitarian regimes in Asia, Africa and Latin America." ~~Huffingtonpost~~

"It is as lucid as daylight that the same slave masters and colonial powers that once instigated the two world wars have caused widespread misery and disorder with far-reaching effects across the globe since then," ~~Huffingtonpost~~

I think Ahmadinenjah was trying to have a serious talk with those white elitist folks. It appears that he had a lot to get off his chest at that UN meeting. Well...he should take note how some of us over here in America have been trying to tell certain folks the same thing for years and have been met with the brush off and a wall of denial, especially when it comes to accepting responsibility for screwing up the economy.

Nevertheless, Ahmadinenjah has apparently forgotten about the little insurrection that took place over in his own country not too long ago. Iranians were rioting like Americans and British folks do when they disagree with the way their being treated by those in authority and they did not seem too happy with the way the elections went down. Iran was looking like Watts for a minute there. I guess we have more in common with Iran than people think.

I thought that a United Nations meetings was supposed to be a place where different country leaders get together and show diplomacy with each other while discussing issues of concern. Getting up and walking out in a United Nations meeting because you disagree with what someone is saying is not being diplomatic. It only demonstrated what Ahmadinenejah accused them of and that is arrogance and I'm sure those other world leaders were thinking the same thing. So, tell me how do you talk to people who like to point to the splinters in other folk's eye, but who don't want you pointing to the two by four in theirs?

Wannabe Blacks!

Apparently, those folks over in Montreal, Canada don't do much Sun tanning, so I guess they've come up with a not so new way to be BLACK.

The elitist white students at Hautes Études Commerciales, the Université de Montréal’s business school. claimed to be honoring Usain Bolt, the Jamaican sprinter, a five-time World, and three-time Olympic gold medallist by painting themselves with blackfaces. What takes the cake, is that the University's head honchos do not see anything was wrong with it. Therefore, they came up with the same old tired excuse and false apology they always use when they know that it was meant as an insult.

Someone needs to send those white folks over in Montreal a memo to let them know that they do not have to paint themselves with blackfaces to kick it. Nor do they have to pretend that they did not know that it was offensive. Stop lying and just be your ole racist self. They must be following our American racist lead. America does have a way of corrupting people's beliefs and giving out false apologies.

Screw the People And The GOP Says, Amen!

If your looking for the GOP to work on getting Americans back to work? Well...keep looking, hoping, praying, ah hell, do not expect it. That is, unless you want to work for a paupers wages. How does sixty four cents an hour sound to you? Or maybe, just a few meager pennies more...

"Banister concluded China has about 38 million city manufacturing workers. The 30 million on whom she found data earn an average $1.06 an hour. Another roughly 71 million suburban and rural manufacturing workers earn an average 45 cents an hour, for a blended 64 cents. In the current BLS survey, Mexico's $2.48 hourly compensation is the lowest." ~~Bloomburg Business Week~~

Today, the GOP passed a bill in the House that would regress American wages back to antebellum times. If passed in the Senate, which I doubt very seriously, it would cause American's cars, furniture, etc., that are not paid for to be added to the repo list since the GOP does not consider the high cost of living in their so-called brillant ideas. Moreover, did it ever occur to those dimwitted GOP House Representatives that the cost of living is rising, not decreasing, and lower wages would send more Americans into poverty?

Mitt Romney said that he would like someone like Dick Cheney for a VP. Now, if that don't beat all, I don't know what does. I am so sick of those rightwing folks accusing the President of being a socialist. It would be in the rightwing and Teaparty folks best interest to invest in a dictionary to help them stop lying. Or at least go to the library. The definition of socialist is:

So, Rick Perry is the GOP hopeful pick, well, it figures since the GOP party is the party of the rich and aristocrat. Why expect anything less from a party that caters to rich folks and is the "death squad for the poor, senior citizens, fatherless, and middleclass.

Speaking of Perry, the psuedo Christian, he is a leader in stealing from those who are underprivileged to balance the budget. Surprising enough, so far we haven't heard of any people dying of heat strokes, except on the job and the homeless in Texas.

Nevertheless, for the governor to steal funds that subsidize the high cost of electrical and heating bills in order to balance the budget is evil.

Especially, when Meyers is a representative for right wing organizations like this and this when their purpose is not exactly fighting for Civil Rights. Nope! In fact they are out to dismantle Civil Rights. That's their real purpose and agenda.

The Help, Part 1

People have been talking about the picture “The Help” sharing different views on it. I did not go to see the film and probably will not because I am not a movie theater person. Besides which, I do not think that I want to sit through a movie full of stereotypes and denigration. Nor do I want to watch a whitewashed, sterile versions of what it was like to be a domestic worker back then. I hear and see enough of that in daily living.

Earlier on, I made up my mind that I would finish reading the book before I make a comment on it. Nevertheless, the author of “The Help” painted a portrait of bigoted racism illustrating the destructiveness and control it has over people’s lives. BTW, I will have to do more than one segment on “The Help” because what I have to say is longer than the space and design this blog will allow, so this is
Part I.

Truthfully speaking, I did not get any warm, uplifting feelings of hope from it as some professed they did. Nor did I get the white heroine coming to the rescue of blacks. However, I admit that a few parts in it were humorous. In addition, there are some succinct, minuscule mentions of historic Civil Rights Movements, racial tensions, and murder of a Civil Rights figure. Nevertheless, the story illustrated and highlighted the attitudes of whites towards their black “help” while parading out many of the Southern elitist, whites stereotypical images of blacks: their beloved Mammy and Sapphire; alcoholic woman abusers, child deserters, single unwed mothers; blacks steal and are diseased ridden, etc. Not only that, it pointed out the disdain influential whites have towards poor whites.

The story takes place in Jackson, Mississippi and was about a white woman name Skeeter exploiting black women for her self-seeking and self-serving interest. Skeeter’s ambition is to become an editor of a leading publisher company. In pursuit of her goal, she lies and tells the head of a publishing company where she put in an application at that she is writing a story about Negro maids telling their side of what it is like working for white people. However, the help (domestic workers) are unaware of this because she never asked them, at least not before she told that lie. Clearly, it demonstrated how easily whites seem to take blacks for granted thinking they should be willing to cater to their every whim or command.

No doubt, Skeeter is aware of the dangers and backlashes the help would face in that era by telling their story. After all, they live in a town that is the center of racial oppression and where Medgar Evers was assassinated. Moreover, it is a place where violent crimes against blacks happened frequently, regardless of gender or age. It's easy to see, Skeeter was looking out for Skeeter and trying to advance her career. It was not about helping the black women because if Skeeter had been sincere in wanting to help she would have stood up to her racist bigot, friend Hilly.

Nevertheless, birds of a feather flock together. The only risk Skeeter was taking was being ostracized by a bunch of racist bigots. Evidently, that was more than she wanted to bear. Being ostracized by their own in real life is something that many whites do not have the courage to face, so they just go along with the program, which inadvertently makes them an accomplice and enabler. Racist bigots exercise control over them with threat of ostracizing them. Therefore, they give racist bigots controlling power over them.

On the other hand, the help could suffer lost of their jobs that they, desperately, needed to feed their family, and their meager existence totally destroyed. In addition, the risk of being sent to prison on false trumped up charges, smeared, slandered, and denied employment ever again in Jackson. Moreover, the help risk their houses being shot up, burned down, and violence. In the same way, racist bigots exercised control over blacks’ lives with threats of cutting off their livelihood and destroying their meager existence. The majority of blacks did not have their own businesses, only a few were self-supporting, so those that did not had to swallow their pride and do what they had to do to survive.

The only person I felt like Skeeter was trying to save was a female’s image (her mother) in her own household. Her mother gave Constantine the maid who raised Skeeter an ultimatum. That she could no longer see her own flesh and blood ever again if she wanted to keep working for her. She even went so far as to tell her not to even allow her daughter to live with her. Mind you, Skeeter’s mother was not referring to her not seeing Skeeter, but Constantine’s own daughter, which illustrated how much control over blacks’ lives whites seem to think they should have over them. Consequently, Constantine quit working for Skeeter's mother, left with her daughter, and refused to let Skeeter's mother have that much control over her. Here is a subtle instance in which the attitude of whites is that blacks are docile children who must yield to whites authority.

Today, I had planned to write a topic about “The Help”, but something else was brought to my attention, so instead, I am going to write about it. Some folks must really be longing for the good ole days because now someone has come up with a new video game called “Slavery”.

This is not only disrespect to our President, but it is disrespect to ALL black people. The attacks since day one have been racist in content and not political attacks of policies. For example: A Congressperson calling the President “Tar Baby”. However, when folks on the right attack this President it has something to do with skin color and racist stereotypes. Not one black person attacked President Bush’s or any of the other 43 President"s skin color or all white people. It was always about their policies. However, this is not the case with President Obama. Nope, instead they are attacking, disrespecting, and insulting ALL black people.

There appears to be those in our so-call free society, land of liberty, that seem to think that black folks place is in a servile positions and that they don't deserve to be apart of the "American Dream" because of the color of their skin. Yup, there are some folks who seem to think the only deserving people who have a right to that dream are lily white rich folks. Therefore, they hold up and praise people with Confederate leanings and aspiring wannabe slave owners like Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry.

The only people that seem to be speaking out and protesting against this study flow of racist insults seem to be some Black bloggers. Where are the Black Caucus and NAACP organization at and where is their outrage? Have they grown weary or have they grown fearful or have they been brought too? Why are they not standing up and speaking out against the racist insults and disrespect towards our President and Black people is beyond me. Are they out of touched with the black community? Are the Color of Change Organization and Al Sharpton the only ones that have guts enough to stand up against bigotry?

Travis Smiley and Cornell West have joined the rightwing in bashing the President, but where is their bull horn in speaking out against all of the racist stereotypes and racist disrespect that has been aimed at this President and Black people. Talk about poverty, slavery was a big factor in poverty for black people since it involved “free labor”. Slavery is a subject that is, constantly, being brought up by the rightwing and Teaparty candidates running for President, lately. Yup, they seem to longing for the good ole days of picking cotton when they could call us darkies any denigrating name they felt like, disrespect us however they felt like doing, and treating us less than human legally.

People can sit back thinking that it will never happen, but think about this, it happened after Reconstruction and there were those who thought the same thing. People it is time to stand up and say ENOUGH! Skip the empty apologies.

Could someone please tell me what is wrong with some of these adults? I mean there used to be a time when adults acted like adults. Nowadays, we have adults acting like children and children acting like adults.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why this grown man jumped in his kid's fight. Not only that, he was the one that instigated it. There used to be a time when adults would have broke the fight up, but this man chose to go another route.

Okay, just because this mom likes to get high doesn't mean that her baby does too. Nevertheless, Jessica Callaway thought of a way to calm her baby down that should nominate her for unfit mother of the year.

I finished reading "The Help" and I got sorta a different take on it than everyone else did. Since I have a lot to say about "The Help" I've decided to write about it for my next topic. Hint, I did not get no warm feeling from it or see a white hero/heroine come to save those poor ole black folks either. More like a white woman out to exploit for her own self-serving purpose. Madness Spinning Out Of Control

I wonder if Governor Rick Scott plans to apologize to those "Welfare Recipients" that he smeared and said were all drug addicts. In Rick's quest to end aid to all of those black "welfare queens" that Reagan made up, the governor wasted $178 billion of the taxpayer's money that could have been spend on JOBS.

Most drug addicts steal or work or scam to support their drug habits. Someone needs to start doing drug testing on some of these politicians because, lately, some of their proposals make me think that they might be beaming up Scottie.

"For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household." Some of these folks that are out there fleecing the sheep are beginning to act a little strange here lately. Typing in tongues? I Know that there is such a thing as speaking in tongues in certain faiths, but typing in tongues, uh no! Some folks need to be careful about whose table they sit at to feast with. All manna is not good manna!

Why is it that Ms. Wannabe slave owner and the rest of the GOP candidates seems to think that Corporations and rich folks are deprived, unfortunate, and needy? Not only does Bachmann and the GOP candidates have their eye on eliminating social security, Bachmann is considering taking it a step further it seems and lower minimum wage. Are we closer to a serfdom than we think?

And Ron Paul he is really longing for the good ole days when women didn't have rights, Jim Crow was in place, interracial marriage was against the law, and there was no vaccine for polio. I keep telling folks that little old man is dangerous. A zebra does not change its spots. Speaking of spots, that Rick Perry sure has a lot of them.

Handouts Are Fine and Dandy If Your Wealthy

More and more those on the right of the political arena are falsely spitting out those old traditional stereotypes of lazy, incompetent, inferior blacks as a distraction to stop people from talking about those wealthy folks who are really on the receiving end of HANDOUTS. One of their favorite distractions is that ALL blacks want are handouts. Nope, all blacks want are jobs, so where are the jobs?

President Bush bailed out the Savings & Loans industry with $500 billion of the taxpayer's money -- enough to fund 20 years of federal AFDC. ~~Steve Kangas~~

The faultiness in that logic is that there are just as many blacks, if not more, standing in those job recruiting lines as whites, Asians, Hispanics/Latinos’ because the unemployment rate is more higher among black Americans than any other group of people. However, those on the right want to keep up with the false pretense that it’s those lazy, incompetent, inferior black folks. Not those tax dodging Corporations!

When the office of President was held by ex-President Reagan, we were bombarded with stories of black welfare queens driving a Cadillacs and the “Welfare Queen Myth." Even though, that was an outright lie because none existed! In fact, there were more whites on welfare than blacks. Nevertheless, single mothers in all color groups with children were struggling to make food in the house stretch until the next month without much success. They were told to stock up on peanut butter and make sandwiches and lectured on eating healthy with less resources to do so, which was an insult that would help create the next attack on the poor.

Those on the right and some on the left can continue to fabricate that story about entitlements being the cause of a bad economy, but they know who the real culprits are and how Corporate Welfare culture rose. In addition, Congress knows what welfare reform resulted in, but some folks when it comes to money do not have a conscience, especially if they are possibly sharing in the loot. An example of a single poor mother's job search:

Nevertheless, the Congress would rather snatch the crumbs of food out the mouth of the poor than to even suggest that the rich cut down on their caviar or lobsters. The poor do not have lobbyist to dangle carrots in any of the Congressperson's face as an incentive to fight in their behalf. Of course, now the GOP is targeting grandma and grandpa who have already had their cost of living raise frozen since 2009. Yet, the cost of living in America hasn't stop rising.

Americans are beginning to wake up and realize that "We the People" excludes the poor and middleclass and has changed to "We the Corporations."

Dear Rep. Barbara Lee, Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, Can We Talk?

As a constituent who resides in your district, I just want to weigh in on the hatred and political divisiveness that I hear and read about on the news and on the Internet. There are forces working very hard at making sure that President Obama is defeated in 2012. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they took an oath or signed a pledge to that effect.

The newest political strategy is to turn the African-American community against the first black president. The idea is to get black folks to scream at the President and to threaten to withhold our support come November 2012. Due to the very high unemployment rate in the black community, this could be an easy sell. The well-paid professional propagandists don’t ask African-Americans to lay the blame for the lack of employment at the feet of the business world (which is hoarding up a couple of trillions in their rainy-day fund), or to consider the fact that governors everywhere are cutting down on the public sector workforce (comprised of large numbers of black Americans per capita), or to holler at the Republican-dominated House, which has blocked most of the job-creating programs introduced by Democrats. Instead, they want us to aim our fire solely at our President and to blame him for 30 years of white men’s policies.

Now, I have already informed myself on what this President has done to help the American population in general, and African-Americans in particular.

Considering 2.7 years as the current timetable of his accomplishments, I would note that President Obama has reformed the health care system, which will provide subsidies for lower-income individuals who may not currently be covered (many who are AA), and also provides funding for badly needed community clinics, while doing away with pre-existing condition restrictions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and coronary heart disease, all ailments suffered in alarming rates by members of the black community.

In addition, women will soon get birth control free of charge if insured, which means that women who were previously going to Planned Parenthood – because, even with insurance, they couldn’t afford the price of contraceptives – won’t need to anymore. This leaves women who are uninsured more resources to get birth control via Planned Parenthood. Plus, the stimulus saved the biggest health care provider to the black community, the various state Medicaid programs. As well, the President closed the Medicare donut hole in prescription drugs, reduced seniors’ prescription prices by 50% through the use of generic drugs, and sent $250 payments to seniors to make up to the lack of a COLA increase for two years now.

Further, the President literally, by his lonesome, saved the auto industry (while being criticized for it all the while), and in so doing saved many jobs held by African-Americans in the Midwest. No less, the Cash for Clunkers program provided needed cash to those with clunkers permanently parked or about to stop running.

Benefiting young people who are attempting to afford rising college tuition, President Obama increased Pell grants, supported funding community colleges at unprecedented levels, and reformed the private student loan programs to eliminate the middleman, thereby reducing loan interest rates. He also revamped the actual repayment of loan programs, reducing them to not more than 10% of income, while providing incentives to those who would choose community service careers. His credit card reform bill stopped the predatory practice of credit card companies gifting young people with the ability to ruin their credit at an early age (something that hits our community harder than most). He is also cracking down on for-profit educational enterprises, some of which charge outrageous fees for inferior post-secondary education. These same young people are now able to stay insured under their parents’ health insurance until the age of 26, whether they are enrolled in school part-time, full-time or not at all.

For the younger children, President Obama is responsible for signing a bill insuring healthier meals are served in our nation’s public schools, thereby addressing the issue of childhood obesity, a subject that affects more children in the African-American community than in others. Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign is also addressing this serious issue. And we shouldn’t forget that early in his term, President Obama provided healthcare to 11 million additional children via the CHIP program previously vetoed by President Bush.

As states cut funding for public education, President Obama recently allowed waivers to states to do away with strict requirements set by No Child Left Behind, requirements which would have marked many of the public schools in low-income neighborhoods for closure. He has also invested in the development and replication of successful charter school programs, again focusing on low-income communities, while rewarding teachers who plan to teach in such areas.

President Obama has assisted all Americans, which includes African-American workers, by providing a payroll tax reduction (beneficial to workers who may or may not pay income tax), extended unemployment benefits, kept income tax low for the working class, and signed financial reform into law (which benefits our community largely because minorities were especially hard hit by the subprime mortgage crisis). There is also the up and coming Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which promises to be on the side of consumers, and we as black people are certainly that!

I cannot forget that the first black president increased military pay and improved veterans’ health care, is drawing down troops in Iraq, and has set a timeline for our departure from Afghanistan.

Lastly, President Obama instituted reform of crack cocaine sentencing, and the deadly killer, the tobacco industry. And – lo and behold – black farmers were recently finally awarded their long awaited settlement!

I may have forgotten a few other accomplishments that have been of assistance to the black community, but this letter is getting rather lengthy.

Now, that is not to say there is not much more to do, because of course there certainly is, and another four years would be a good start. But no president has ever been perfect, and this one should not be exempted from that rule. But I’m puzzled as to why some would want to believe that the majority of a particular minority group, who stood by FDR even as FDR basically cut them out of the new Social Security program as a compromise with Southern Democrats to get the bill passed, and who idolized JFK without gaining the rights that they were fighting for at the time, and who supported Bill Clinton, who gutted welfare, signed NAFTA, and then lied about having sex with “that” woman, would now be encouraged to drop their support of a black president who has done what I have listed in such a short time amidst political provocateurs and opportunists throwing rocks at him from the Left and the Right. It makes no common sense to me. In fact, it only tells me that we must insure that our community is well informed, so that we all hold steadfast, even as the most spoiled and entitled in this nation attempt to hoodwink us into believing that somehow we are worse off with this president than we have been with any other.

The Obama presidency is not about him, nor is it about black people. His presidency is about good common-sense governance for all Americans, while dealing with incredible odds and looking hateful enemies in the eye. Every day they conjure up ways to destroy this nation, just to say it happened on his watch. My bumper sticker statements are that ObamaCares, while Republicans won’t, and we shouldn’t turn our backs on him, we should cover his.

Thank you for your time and for your wonderful work, as I know that you have contributed to much of the changes I have mentioned. I support you and all that you do. I’m glad that we fighting on the same side. Stay as strong as you are, and I will do the same.

Revision of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Last night I watched the news and debates. I felt like I was watching a revisionist version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that eliminated the witch in the story entirely and instead the Republican nominees were the ones handing out the poison apples. I even fell asleep after watching it.

Wannabee slave owner Michelle Bachmann seems unable to resist using her coded antebellum idealogy language. She stated that she "fought President Obama at the tip of the spear" implying that President Obama was a savage. When the Barack Obama won the Presidential election, she called implied that he was unAmerican. Missy Bachmann appears to be unable to resist letting us darkies know that she does not think we belong here in America. Surprisingly, she hasn't slipped yet and told us to go back to Africa yet. I guess she'll announce that if she wins the President position. That is after she's picked out her slaves. And yet she brags about her only accomplishment being the right of citizens to be able to choose the lightbulb of their choice. Wow! Granny--->scratching her head trying to figure out what is so extraordinary about that.

Don't you just love it how hard some black Republicans bend over backwards to pretend that they have not been insulted or denigrated by their fellow white Republicans. Wallace actually asked Cain if he knew enough to be President. Cain must have missed the memo that white Republicans believe that black men lack intelligence and are not fit to lead.

Cain showed all thirty-two in an interview with Hannity the ex-bartender. Yup, he was just a peeling back his lips and showing his teeth for Hal Turner's pal Sean Hannity. Cain is the owner of "Godfather's Pizza" and I don't think that refers to godfather of a godchild either, not the way he talks out the side of his mouth. I was taught to never trust a man that talks out the side of their mouth.

Ron Paul made good points about ending the war. Nevertheless, one can't help but wonder if his heart is in the right place seeing how he is the Conservative Citizens Council choice for a candidate. Especially, since the CCC is known for not being too black folk friendly. In addition, Ron Paul has wrote some articles that are not black folk friendly neither. Being the President means President of "all" the people, not just "white" people.

Did Pawlently call the President a killer? That is so disrespectful, but it seems the Republicans have a habit of disrespecting the President like it is as normal as apple pie. Rick Santorum was acting like a spoiled brat having a mild temper tantrum because he did not get to finish what he had to say.

I do not understand why Mitt Romney reminds me of an animated mannequin. He is so artifical! How can anyone take him serious? He is the king of flip-flopping. Romney implied that the President wasn't intelligent and does not love this country. I'm wondering what it takes for a person who graduated with honors to be intelligent in Romney's book? Should the President go out and tattoo I love this country on his forehead? Would that help?

The last dwarfs well...forget it. Nevertheless, what would Snow White be without a prince? Rick Perry who chose not to participate in the debates. Rick is the prince of seccessionist. Imagine that he wants to run for an office of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, but wanted to separate from the Union not too long ago. Perry is the same governor that advocated carrying guns on school campuses.

What's scary is that fact that most of the Republican candidates are speaking of less government, but are running for government positions. Or either they are what's wrong with government. How can people like that serve in government, especially if they're against government?

Well folks after returning back from my trip back South, I am beginning to hear more and more talk about slavery and proposals for some new voting laws coming from those white folks on the rights. It appears that those folks are longing for the good ole days when they could sit on their asses, drink mint julips, and fan flies all day while they once again profiting off those of a darker hue's free labor.

I do believe that Michelle Bachmann fantasy is to have a few slaves of her own, since she  seems to think that there is nothing wrong with owning other human beings or exploiting them for free labor. In fact, she seems to be recommending it as good for us black folks. I'd like to recommend a straight-jacket for her because she is not playing with a full deck.  In addition, someone needs to tell her that Gone With the Wind was a movie and she is far from being Scarlet O'Hara. In fact, she reminds me more of Chucky's  Bride, well...she does look like that little doll with those glazed eyes of hers.

Could that be why she and her husband get handouts from the government to subsidize their farm?  Must be for all those slaves Bachmann has been daydreaming about having if she gets to be President of Racist America. She is one crazy woman that I bet can't wait to get her hands on one of our Mandingo brothas. After seeing a picture of her husband and observing her mannerism, I think I know why.

Bill Flax, a columnist for Forbes must be having a few back in the day fantasies himself.   It seems that ole Billy Boy has come up with a creative way to bring back Jim Crow. And even some whites folks see through his proposal and think that he should be added to the scumbag of the year list:

Stealing A Dollar Out of Fifteen Cents

Never in a million years would I have thought that the day would come when Congress would steal a dollar out of fifteen cents. However, that is exactly what they’ve done with the new debt deal and the people let them. After all the poor and elderly barely have fifteen cents or a pot to piss in. I guess the pot to piss in will be next on the agenda after they finish stealing grandma and grandpa’s checks and subtle senior citizen genocide.

The Republicans have gone out of their way to make the rich wealthier and keep them happy. While the poor and newly poor (unemployed middle class) well… Congress does not give two hoots about them because they don’t have enough moola or any high paying jobs to offer those Congresspersons when their term is up. Maybe, the Congress perceives only the rich as real Americans and all others as refugees because they act like our votes do not count. Congress proved that they are stone deaf to the need for jobs, housing, medical care, education, and keeping our environment safe.

President Obama needed to step up his game earlier in his term and recognize that he is the Commander in Chief and not Compromiser in Chief. However, one thing in his favor is the fact that the Republicans said from the very beginning that they wanted him to fail. I got news for the President; a zebra does not change its stripes. Those folks meant what they said. They were not just whistling Dixie. Getting bills passed is fine, but sacrificing the poor and elderly to do it is not!

Furthermore, he needs to realize that there are even some Democrats who are more than willing to stab him in his back then let a black man reside in the sacred White House. We are not living in Post-Racial America just yet. Nope, in fact, we’re living in Post-Racist America. You see, everything has to get worse before it gets better because without darkness you cannot see the light!

A terminally ill woman was booted off welfare for winning a back pay settlement. The amount she was booted off for did not make sense. It was not like she had struck it rich or was given an amount that she could live off for the rest of her life. Wouldn’t it have made more sense to temporarily suspend her payments, until the money was spent?

It seems that in various states people are going on shooting sprees. Well, that’s to be expected when there are no jobs. People get frustrated, stressed out, and become ticking time bombs. I bet you Congress won’t pass any gun laws though. Nope, that would be too much like the right thing to do to keep folks safe. We can’t even expect them to pass laws to keep food, water, and the environment safe from big companies pollution and toxics, so why we would expect them to pass a decent gun law? Besides the gun folks have lots of money to make sure that they don’t.

I have been thinking that maybe we should start a Poor People’s Party. Each person could donate a dollar a piece or fifty cents or a widow’s mite to make a difference, since money is the only thing that seems to move Congress to take action and the only way they would consider us as real Americans. After all there are more poor people than there are rich. And the poor population is growing in leaps and bounds. Thanks to Congress those dollars and cents would add up real quick. One way to create jobs would be to fire Congress and start fresh by giving those jobs to the unemployed. Btw, what ever happened to that guy that said, “The rent is too damn high!”?

First let me say this, I am surprised that blogger has finally let me post on my own blog today. Lately, for the last past months, it has been giving me major problems. It wouldn't let me sign in to my own blog, nor would it let me post comments at times on my own blog or others. When I was able to post a comment, I had to be resourceful and take other routes to be able to do that. I was even told a couple of times that I did not exist.

As you know I'll be leaving next week on a somewhat vacation and trip to tie up a few loose ends. I'll be gone until sometime in August. When I get back, I plan to move my blog because I am fed up with the problems that I've been having with google. So, even when I get back it might take a minute before I am back up again, but I will be back up. Not only that I'll have to do a little repair work on this computer first as well. Anyway, Happy Father's Day to you men folks out there because this will be my last post until I return from my trip and get the problems above solved.

Those folks on the GOP are a manipulating, conniving, and treacherous bunch. My people perish for lack of knowledge.

With that said, I was reading today where Tupac's shooter confessed and it looks like Puff Daddy might have some splaining to do too because his name was brought up in the shooter's confession along with this person's name. I believe if Tupac would have lived and been able to cut Death Row a loose, he would have made a change for the better and his whole lifestyle would have changed as he grew older. Because I saw a young man, that was fighting a war within self.

I'm sick of hearing about Weiner's weiner, but it looks like that is finally going to be laid to rest, because word is that he is resigning. Nevertheless, I look for more scandals to pop up because elections are in the near future. What gets me about these Congressional scandals is that every single Congressperson on Capitol Hill knows each others dirt already before they leak it out. But what is even more disgusting is that they choose to leak it out during the election process season and to drown out and quiet down another scandal on the other side with Uncle Clarence Thomas and his beloved Virginia. Politics can be dirty business at times.

The Birth of Jim Crow

I swear I thought that these days had ended and we were living in post-racial America. Yup, blacks would stop singing We Shall Overcome and toast to peace and equality with our white brothers and sisters. All stereotypes would be discarded and replaced with positive uplifting of one another. We'd start working together on making America a better place for ALL people to live in peace with one another. Well...at least that was the fantasy everyone was, simultaneously, having when President Barack Obama got elected.

However, that is not exactly how things worked out. Nope! Instead old man racism has come out in full force to start some mess and to birth Jim Crow. The birthing of Jim Crows starts with stereotyping negative images of blacks like this one. Of course, they need a few "Sellouts" to attack blacks to make their argument legit. To add weight to their argument they create denigrating, so-called scientific theories regarding physical features and diseases. Moreover, the intelligence of blacks is dismissed as nonexistent. Not to mention, sneaky racist whites who grin in your face and behind your back are trying to sabotage you or playing undercover spy.

With the economy being fragile as it is right and opportunities scarce right about now that results in the next ingredients for Jim Crow, white folks begin complaining, especially when think that there is a chance that they might have to start competing with blacks for jobs. Violence against blacks while hiding behind a badge is another birthing pang. However, blacks barred from public places because of stereotypes was when the Jim Crow baby was born.

Why Do Some In Mainsteam Media Like To Reinforce Stereotypes?

Why do some in the media like to help fortify racial stereotypes of black women? I happened to stop by at Huffingtonpost and this picture caught my eye more than the title itself. Nonetheless, it wasn’t so much the title that I had a problem with. It was the images they chose to represent the title.

This is how ALL blacks were transformed into welfare recipients, a whole group of people looking for handouts, although that was a myth. Nope, I take that back it was an outright lie! Images of black women was the old “welfare queen” trick used by Ronald Reagan to drum up negative opinions and attack black women, attaching a negative stigma to them in the process. But more so Reagan used it to stir up negative sentiments towards poor people, which resulted in selfishness and cold heartedness in the charity department. Yup, they want to eliminate help for the poor. It works every time.

However, what disturbs me the most is that the photo taken transmits a negative stereotype message on purpose. The best way to end help for the poor is to post a picture with black women holding babies. Nothing scares white folks more than a bunch of black babies being born. For example, Benjamin Franklin stated, “…Why should we…darken its people? Why increase the Sons of Africa?” Translation: Those black men might start mixing with our pure lilywhite women. You know how those insatiable black men can’t keep their pants zipped up. Those black men love to…

In the first place, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson stipulated from the beginning that they did not want people of color to share in the new republic’s prosperity; both played a part in reinforcing racist views and birthing those views into white society. For example, Benjamin Franklin stated, “…Why should we…darken its people? Why increase the Sons of Africa, by planting them in America, where we have so fair an opportunity.” Heaven forbid letting those lazy black folks have a penny. Nothing boils white folks blood more than a black person with a penny.

From Jefferson and Franklin’s hypocritical viewpoint, people of color were alright to sleep with, but sharing in the wealth or equality that was a horse of a different color. I wonder what Sally Hemmings thought about Jefferson’s deadbeat dad ways and if Franklin acknowledged his mulatto offspring. Jefferson and Franklin both remind me of D.J. Quick and those so-called God-fearing rightwing folks.

Ultimately, the picture is to drum up stereotypical judgment not just against those women in the picture, but ALL black women and to rally up enough favor with dominant white society to eliminate help for the poor. The sad thing is that poverty does not discriminate and if people would take time to do the math, there are more poor whites in America than people of color. People of color make up a small margin of America’s population; therefore, they make up as sliver of the poor.

I bet not very many people who saw this picture stopped to think that; maybe, those women’s husbands are in Iraq or Afghanistan or anything positive.

The Invisible President

Well...it’s been a while since the last time I posted. Everyone is talking about Osama Ben Laden’s death and as usual the Republicans are trying to discredit the President. Nothing new there, that is a habitual obsession with them. I named this post the “Invisible President” for a reason. Years ago, Ralph Ellison wrote a book called “Invisible Man” and the narrator in the story expressed with symbols a problem that Republicans seem to have with President Obama.

In the story, the “Invisible Man” the narrator telling the story is invisible. His name is never mentioned throughout the book, nor is the town he lives in, or the college he attends, which symbolizes his invisibility to other characters in the book. It is similar to how some folks on the right and in the media refer to President Obama as “Mr. Obama” instead of President Obama or “the subtle claim of the Birther’s conspiracy that somehow implies that he is “alien” because he is invisible to them as the President of the United States of America.

All throughout the book, Invisible Man, the narrator is defined by people who do not see him—that is his real identity because they cannot. Blind people cannot see! The Republicans are blinded by an ideology and racism. Instead, they see him through negative values, racist connotations, and expectations that they are trying to imposed on him. Yet, none of those values, racist connotations, and expectations they are trying to impose on him or the identity they are trying to ascribe to him fit because it is not who he is as a person. The identity they are trying to assign to him is a projection of them.

In the story of the Invisible Man, the narrator finds that, in each case, the prescribed role limits his complexity as an individual and forces him to play an inauthentic part as he passes through different communities in search of his identity. Racism is an obstruction to a person’s identity. The racial prejudice of others causes them to see the President only as they want to see him because theirs is a limitation of vision. However, he is forcing others to acknowledge him, to acknowledge the existence of beliefs and behaviors outside of their prejudiced expectations. The President has forced those folks on the right to show their true beliefs and colors, but they are too blind to see that.

Finally, in the story, Invisible Man, the narrator realizes that the complexity of his inner self is limited not only by people’s racism but also by their more general ideologies. He finds that the ideologies advanced by institutions prove too simplistic and one-dimensional to serve something as complex and multidimensional as human identity. Racism blinds people and obstructs people from seeing a person’s real identity, but in the same sense it shines the light on those with racist views own insecurities and fears. However, those with racist views cannot see that because of their blindness they are projecting self.

Tribute to Sam Cooke

Since the President and First Lady are giving tribute to Motown for "Black History Month," I thought I'd give a little tribute to Sam Cooke. What people seem to forget is that Sam Cooke was the first black soul singer to own his own record company and that he paved the way in the music industry for entrepreneurs like Berry Gordy and cleared the way for other black singers.

Cooke was born in 1931 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. His father was a preacher. When Cooke hit the music scene he had a choir boy image and was one of the best soul singers who ever lived. Muhammad Ali was one of his closest friends. He grew up poor and used singing as his hustle to make a few nickels here and there. As a professional singer, he had one hit after another and was very popular at the time. A few of his songs, for example, “Chain Gang” and “A Change Gone Come” were songs about Jim Crow, but Cooke made them soulful hits. He was active in the Civil Rights Movement.

Cooke’s death shocked the nation because he was murdered in a motel and the circumstances surrounding his murder were rather unpleasant and tragic. He was thirty-three when he died. Nevertheless, the suspicious circumstances surrounding his death still raise questions to this day. Two funerals were held for Cooke in which around 100,000 people showed up to moan and pay their respects. One well-known celebrity that sung at his funeral was Ray Charles. Cooke was loved by his fans.

American Land of Liberty...Cough, Cough! Snicker...Snicker!

Today I was thinking about a puzzle and the word "liberty" and what it truly means. Liberty as defined by American Heritage:

a. The condition of being free from restriction or control.

b. The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing.

c. The condition of being physically and legally free from confinement, servitude, or forced labor.

d. Freedom from unjust or undue governmental control.

e. A right or immunity to engage in certain actions without control or interference.

Yup, that's what true liberty means. Think about it, and I mean seriously think about it. So, now, I ask you are Americans really experiencing true liberty?

Democrats are still being threatened. Smh! Having a passion for country and all is cool, but some folks take it to a dangerous extreme. That's not good for this country, but then I told y'all folks don't let those Republicans get back in or it would be all bad. Do you hear me now?

Jim Crow Texas

An innocent man Anthony Graves spent 18 years in jail and now Texas is denying him compensation because of "wording" in his release papers. Yup, Texas has come up with a new way to take away innocent people of color's freedom.

The Texas justice system has come up with a new way to screw over black men who are innocent. Black Americans face it, we're living in the NEW JIM CROW era. America the land of the FREE does not include black people in the FREE part if you live in TEXAS. Well...what do you expect with a governor like Rick Perry who is a confederate sympathizer.

Texas appears to be a little backwards and evidently does not like diverse communities since they have a history of locking up innocent black men. Graves is not the first black man that was found innocent in Texas.

It was just a few months ago that Texas was rewriting history and leaving people of color out it. Deep in the heart of Texas are some racial preferences for incarcerating innocent black men.

This man has spent 18 years of his life in prison and now Texas wants to renege and refuse to obey the law to compensate him for those wasted years of his life. A man did not break the law, but the state of Texas is breaking a law and denying him what is rightfully due him. It is something wrong with the justice system if they can lock an innocent man up, take away 18 years of his life, and then spit in his face when they realize that they made a mistake. Folks there is no justice like Texas' injustice!

Would someone please tell Sarah Failing Palin that she is no Hillary Clinton. Why on earth Palin seems to think that she has what is takes to be President of these United States of America is comical to say the least.

Well...that's being polite. Naaah...forget being polite. Fact of business, she is too dumb to be the President and that's the bottom line. Whatever gave her the notion that all it takes to be President is spouting out some little nice-nasty juvenile slogans or hurtful words, and talking more country than Ellie Mae on the Beverly Hillbillies does not cut it. Nope, I'm afraid not.

She lacks class and is not refined, which is a few qualities anyone running for President should have. GWB might have mispronunced a few words or got a little mixed up in grammar here and there, but GWB did have a little class. I mean come on now, for goodness sakes, a President has to sit down and talk to other world leaders.

After all, people we do not want a President embarrassing us with phrases like "You Betcha" or "Hows' that crown working out for ya, Queenie" when greeting the the Queen of England or telling dignitaries from other countries that she can see Russia from her backyard. Nor do we want a President winking their eye at other world leaders.

She does not get it! People want a President that has above average knowledge, which she is sorely lacking. To tell you the truth, her knowledge does not even rise above barely passing at third grade level. In addition, she suffers from illusions and is a gold-diggers. People do not want a gold-digger in charge of the taxpayer's money.

How she conned the people of Alaska into letting her be their governor is similar to watching one of those reality shows...Flavor Fav comes to mind, unbelievable.

Now, all of a sudden she wants to teach journalist because she has a degree in communications. Yup, Palin has all of a sudden promoted herself to expert/Professor of Journalism overnight in her little pea-brain mind. Whatever that heffa is sipping on, she needs to regroup and come out of that coma she is in. Expert in journalism or Professor of journalism, she is not! Palin is not even an expert in??? Hey, just what is she an expert in??? NOTHING, but running her mouth!

We Need A U-Haul Movement

What the heck is wrong with President Obama? Has someone kidnapped the Barack Obama that ran for President and replaced him with a clone? Because it looks like to me he is more interesting in winning the approval of the wingnuts than he is the people who put him in office.

I've been trying to hold my peace, but enough is enough! Heat is a mandatory basic need for people to survive. Well...Mr. President I sure hope you got a big enough refrigerator in the White House because the poor might have to come live with you until the cold weather ends. I'm just saying.

If he adds cuts to the energy program to the budget, he won't have to worry about anyone coming out to vote, especially seniors and poor people because they'll all be froze like popsicles. With people out of jobs and losing their homes, many of the what used to be the middleclass will be in the same shape.

Does the president realize that the weather has been extremely cold in the United States? Oh I forgot, the White House has nice big fireplaces all thoughout the White House and the electric bill is paid by the taxpayers. Heat is the last worry for the President and Congress because Capitol Hill and the White House is warm and cozy, not to mention AirForce One, and those Presidential Limousines while chilling and drinking wine.

What we need is a "U-Haul Truck Movement" where all the poor people and senior citizens rent a U-Haul truck and not march, but ride to the White House, and move in.

Why would politicians think that it is wise to cut energy program when the price of heat and electricity have tripled. Senior haven't had a cost of living raise for the last couple of years. I don't know what report those folks up on Capitol Hill are reading, but it must be the one from the 1920s because it sure isn't the one for 2011. Matter of fact, all of those reports must be for the 1920s.

What other big ideas do our politicians have in store for us? I mean should we go back to horse and buggy too since the price of gas is rising. Should we go back to the old fashion splitting logs for heat?

Politicians have no ideas. The only solution they come up with every time is cuts for the poor. Yet, they can come up with billions for a war that the American people did not want or ask for and money for elections. Cuts for the poor is not any well thought out solution, it just the same old repetitious suggestion that has been used so much until it is like a broke record and the poor know it by heart. The name of the song is Its Gone Be Painful." That's always the clue to poor people that the politicians are getting ready to snatch away what little crumbs they have.

For once I wish politicians up on Capitol Hill would come up with an idea and I'm talking about a fresh, real idea, good idea, instead of the same mentally lazy, stale ideas over and over. Nothings changed! It's the same playbook and outdated manual that's been used all throughout history by every single politicians.

Why do politicians hate seniors, poor people and fatherless children? Looks like they are not too fond of the middleclass either. Well...what used to be the middleclass that is.

Our Sister Tribes In Africa - Read First!

Did you know that most Africans who live in Africa can recognize what tribe some black's ancestors belonged to by looking at them? Well, that is what I was told back years ago by someone who was from Africa. I knew where a couple of my ancestors originated from in Africa, so I tested that person on it. Therefore it might be true because most Africans recognize what tribes other Africans are from. We all have some of our ancestor's features in us because a man and woman become one. So, I thought in the celebration of Black History Month, I'd do something different. This video has music playing in the background.

Just for fun, see if any of you sisters can recognize by looking at these African sisters some of your features or maybe one that bares resemblance to someone in your family. For those who have mixed heritage you can still try too. You might see one of these sister's that look like an aunt, a sister, a cousin, your mother, or a grandparent. Who knows it might be a clue as to which tribe your ancestors came from.

Glen Beck needs to do an early retirement thingee. He seems to have a penchant for pissing folks off. Dope and alcohol do not mix and together they intensify the effects. That's two different chemicals! Folks who were long habitual users like Beck act stupid like he does. Therefore, common sense would tell a person that it takes longer for the body to detox because mixing those two together would have a more extreme, longer lasting effect like say....for years to come. Some folks should have taken chemistry classes serious in school. Smh!

BTW, People who are unemployed and having a hard time getting a job you can thank FACEBOOK and MYSPACE for that because employers are using it to eliminate potential employees off their list, along with shipping jobs overseas. Where Are Those JOBS?

I am sorry, Mr. President and Congress, but the people want jobs. Therefore, it is time for you to put your foot down and make Congress stick to the agenda and the agenda is JOBS.

People are not interested in what Bachmann had to say. Matter of fact, she is the last person that people want to hear talk at all, especially, with her voting record during eight years of Bush. On top of that, the Bachmann is not wrapped too tight.

Matter of fact, let us review that record of the last eight years of Bush:

Bachmann also supported and vote in favor of TARP, Bush's Wall Street bailout without ANY conditions.
The Republican Congress blew a surplus.
Failed to keep us safe - 9/11
netted zero job growth

Yup! If I remember correctly, Ms. Bachmann voted with her party of No...Yes, on everything that Bush proposed. Not one time did she complain about any overspending, nor did anyone in the party of No. However, now that President Obama is in charge, all the bills he signed need to be dismantled.  People have a very short memory on who got us into the mess we're in. Yes, they do!

The people want to hear sane people who have common sense.  Palin,well...puleeze go somewhere and sit down and take Bachmann with you because people are not interested in hearing any extreme, crazy, dumb nonsense for the next two years.

Let me spell it out for you what people want to hear...
J O B S!
Nor were they interested in what Ryan had to say. Tell Mr. Ryan to leave grandma and grandpa's check alone before all hell breaks loose and he starts a grandma and grandpa uprising.

And Mr. President people definitely are not interested in hearing the same "Bipartisanship" old song.   For the two years we've listen to it and there hasn't any. We're not expecting the Republicans to have any for the next two years either. Don't you get it yet? Republicans don't want you to succeed, they want you to fail.  Their not use to being under the authority of a black man, let alone him telling them what to do.

We're tired of hearing the bickering, namecalling, and the rest of the kitty mess. Adults should be able to come together and have adult debates about jobs without hearing people like Steve King making some of those most ridiculous and deragotory statements. Or more divisiveness from the Party of No. We're sick of hearing about guns too. Unless, Congress has a real gun control ban. Say like for instance, only law enforcement, militiary, and hunting ONLY. Nevertheless, jobs are first and should be first on the agenda.

Republicans and Teabaggers we do not want to hear your same old tired song about repealing Health Care and all of the other bills that have been passed under President Obama either. Nor do we want to hear teaparty's history revisionist proposals either. The majority of Americans do not agree or like your silly proposals anyway. Either Mr. President you and the Congress are going to come up with jobs or tell the us the truth...that there are no jobs because Corporations have shipped them all over seas and the American Treasury is empty.

Another thing people are tired of is the media trying to tell you how to do your job and what you need to do. Tell them to run for President and then they can do what they think you should do. People are not interested in hearing the same old same old. It is time to get down to business and create those jobs you and Congress have been talking about.

We would like for you to tell FCC to get on their job too. Make sure that they hurry up and end Beck's career on the airwaves, cable, etc., because he is not playing with a full deck. Beck does not have the sense God gave a goose and is crazier than a road lizard. Besides which, he is not a good role model for young people. Next the rest of the coocoo crew, which consist of Bachmann, Palin, and Rush will be telling folks to go out and buy chainsaws for next revolution.

Why Can't Our Government Officials Share In the Pain?

Every time I hear the phrase "it's gonna be painful", what comes to mind is that the only ones that are feeling the pain are the downtrodden and poor. However, our government officials always seem to glide through the pain as untouchables.

Government Jerry Brown must be having some of those 70s flashbacks and reliving in the past. He needs to wake up and realize that we're not living in the past and more cuts for the poor won't cut it.  The Governor of California seems to think that cutting programs that will affect the poor is the only way to save California and trim the budget. However, programs for the poor have been sliced and diced so many times throughout the years by every single elected government official who had the power to do so, until his next propose cut should permanently eliminate the poors safety net. Included in those cuts are a skeleton called education.

Although, he is not alone in his assessment on how the budget should trimmed. Nope, the Republicans want to do some slicing and dicing to a select group themselves to trim the budget to guess who? You got it...the poor. Yet and still, Corporation are the biggest offenders of government waste, big spending, "Corporate Welfare."  But well...face it folks, our government officials don't want to rock the boat with those lining their pockets for upcoming future elections. Naaah! Instead they'd rather play it safe and cut the so-call fat from the already anorexic poor.

Instead they choose to mess with those on the lower rung of the totem pole who do not have a voice in our society and who there is little defense for. Raising funds for elections are more important to them than some poor starving child eating or having a roof over their head. Our government officials seem to be more worried about and interested in winning and raising money to run in elections that are years away than in solving the unemployment problem.

When it comes to elections and prisons, it appears that is when competence and their skills come into to play. However, solving the unemployment, foreclosure problem, ending the war in Afghanistan, our economical problems are so far on the back burner, until it is as if they do not intend to do anything about those problems except let them run their course.

After all there isn't anything for them to worry about because special interests such as big Corporations have them in their pocket. They do not have to worry about health care, housing, unemployment, or going away to physically fight a war, and most of all a paycheck. Nope, not at all!

Congresspersons can keep on living the life of Riley as long as they just stand behind the lectern stand, shut down government, filibuster, and use every other government trick in the book to stall on doing anything for "we the people" until the next election or the coming of Jesus, whichever comes first, and won't feel any of the pain they want the less fortunate and working folks to always feel.

If our government officials really had our interest at heart they would stop playing those tossing back and forth games they play on a daily basis and share some of the pain with us for a change. It wouldn't hurt for them to trim and cut some of their health care services and take a pay cut. In fact, how they're paid should be change from a set rate to a commission. Put and end to Congress leave with pay when they take off for those recesses. Yup! Let them earn their money for a change.  When and if you really think about it, they are getting paid to not do anything. At least not do anything for the American people that is. It's enough pain to go around and they ought to feel some of that pain in their pockets too.

Attacks Against the Elderly

What is up with some of these folks nowadays? First, we had the Pharmaceutials charging the elderly prices so high for medication, until they had to choose between eating and getting medication that they needed. We got that worked out, I think, that is if the GOP does not get their way and repeal the health care bill. Second, we had those who are suppose to protect and serve beating up, tasering, and killing the elderly. And looks like they finally put a halt to that so far (granny is crossing her fingers). Third, white supremacist attacking and severly beating up the elderly. Fourth, politicians are using the budget as an excuse to cut in-home health care for the elderly. Fifth, we have some politicians trying to figure out a way to steal grandma and grandpa's check, privatise Social Security, so that wall street can get their little grubby hands on it. Six, we have some sick person taking out the elderly with an uzi. Finally, now we have some sicko raping an 80 year old woman who happens to be their in-law. I tell you us old folks are up against some tough obstacles to climb if we want to finish living out our days in peace, free from harm, danger, and folks trying to figure out ways to steal from us.

We need some stricter laws to protect the elderly and some of those laws might need to include protection from the government. When it comes to elderly folks, a line ought to be drawn in the sand. Btw, which reminds me...to the person/persons that keep sending me that fake winner of a contest email. I am not senile, nor do I suffer from dementia, nor am I gullible, and I am not that little unsuspecting old lady you can take advantage of either. Read my profile, the part that says "been there, did that, done that. In other words you are not fooling with a dummy. I've been around the world more than once and have learned and experienced more than you could ever imagine.

Fried Ice Cream

Why do some white folks treat Martin Luther King like a yo-yo? They tout Martin Luther King's name when they think that it will be beneficial for them? However, when it is not, they diss him. Some really get undignified.

One of these days, some blacks folks is gone learn that the GOP party is not black folks friendly. My goodness, will someone please tell them that they can only kiss ass for so long before those GOP folks discard them like toilet tissue and that's a fact. I'm just saying. Michael Steele found out as soon as midterm elections was nearly over, but not soon enough, and still don't think he's learned his lesson yet.

Nevertheless, at least Steele did try to stay somewhat in touch with his blackness. And every once in while he did try to reach out to us black folks with the chicken, watermelon giveaway, and free ride in a Hummer limousine. Not to mention, he tried his best to show he was down with the hood by using terms such as "Whusup" and a few others even though at times some of his terms were a little outdated.

In addition, he tried to introduce a rap group that I have to personally say sucked. Y'all know his rap group sucked if a granny even recognized the difference. I have to admit I sorta liked Michael because he was good for a couple of laughs with the leather and whip strip joint surprises. Well...one thing is for sure, Steele let the GOP know that pimping ain't simping because he got his dollars off the top. Now that's gangsta!

I guess that chicken and watermelon giveaway didn't work out too well for Mike. Well...at least they did not nominate Jesse Lee Peterson for Chairman. Lawds knows I cannot stomach that man for two seconds without having visions of passing out knuckle sandwiches and a little knockout punch every time he opens his mouth.

Well...Palin finally put her foot in her mouth and keeps on putting her foot in her mouth. No secret what God can do. Now, I can save my chump change on that purchase of a muzzler as a special gift. Whew! God is good!

Rush is showing his bully tactics again. Yup, when he barks at the GOP they fall in line like toy soldiers. I guess the GOP hasn't learned yet that the bigger they are the harder they fall. Let's hope when Rush falls it isn't on hard solid ground because he might be the cause of the next big earthquake. It wouldn't hurt if he'd listen to Michelle Obama's eat healthy plan for children and take heed.

Someone needs to tell Rush that Oxycontin and politics don't mix. It is obvious that he is suffering from side effects...hallucinating and confusion because he really believes that he is the leader of the GOP party and the GOP believes it too. Not only that he cannot distinguish the difference between good and bad.

What's the Matter Fox, Hasn't Enough Blood Been Spilled Yet?

Divisive political rhetoric is the cause of a child being dead and granny is pissed! My fight now is in behalf of that child. When I think about that innocent child's life being taken behind grown-ups BS, it disturbs me. Apparently, Fox We Make It Up News hasn't seen enough innocent blood spilled yet.

Roger Ailes claimed that he told his thuggish crew to cut down on the rhetoric. Well...I knew that was a crock of BS. Fox We Make It Up News specialty is in stirring up divisive BS that drives people like Loughner over the edge to commit horrendous acts and then claim innocence when something like the Arizona shooting happens or blame the victim. FCC should have pulled the plug on them a long time ago. Until they do, we'll have more of the same in the future.

When I think of that innocent child being a victim in the Arizona shooting, I think about a young life ended that who knows may have one day been the one who had a cure for different diseases or a great leader or a scientist or great humanitarian...some one of greatest. However, that child is gone, life ended before she had a chance to live her life to a fullnest behind grown ups BS.

I've been sounding the alarm about Fox We Make Up Lies News for years because I recognize the danger in what they present as so-called news. Haven't enough people died yet? The abortion doctor wasn't a victim of the shooter who took his life, he was a victim of Fox We Make Up Lies News.

Journalism should be left to real Journalist, not bartenders or those fake so called experts in it to make millions to satisfy their greed that Fox parades off as the real deal. Nor should it be biases or have a political agenda, it should be truthful, objective, and informative where American citizens can make good decisions. No wonder America is sinking into an abyss.

Still fresh in my mind is the picture on Fox Nation web site with a rifle aimed at the President's head last year. Not only that, the picture of the crosshairs on a picture of his daughters. That's when those folks over at Fox should have been hauled in for their not so veiled suggestions.

When I see that child's face, I see my own grandchildren and great-grandchildren and I know how I would feel if something like that happened to them. That child's face is the face of every child in this world. People ought to stop and think how they would feel if this child had been one of their own or a relative of theirs child or even a friend or neighbors child killed behind political agendas. It is way pass time to put an end to dangerous rhetoric and starting with Fox News is a good place to start because their hands are bloody.

I stand behind Sheriff Dupnik and anyone else who has the guts to stand up for the truth and call it out, regardless of their color, party affiliation, lifestyle, or whatever. And I do not plan to sit back and let them make him a scapegoat either because he had nothing to do with and was not the cause behind that child's death. Fox, Rush, Palin, Beck, Bachmann, and a few others are where the fingers should be pointing.

Americans Are Sick Of Derogatory Rhetorical BS

A nine year old child is dead along with a Federal Judge and other innocent people. Congresswoman Gifford is fighting for her life and all because there are some folks like Palin, Beck, Bachmann, and Rush who like to stir up negative divisive BS. Whether they deny it or not they all have blood on their hands.

First let me say, that my heart and prayers go out to that child, the Judge, and other victims in that shooting families. I pray that the Lord will send them a comforter who will immerse them in love and lift their spirits. Weeping endureth for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Sarah Palin's people are busy trying to do some PR behind the shooting that took place in Arizona. I don't care how her and her aides try to spin Palin out of this one, those crosshairs were real and placed carefully on a map for the whole world to see. In spite of what Palin seems to think, the American people are not stupid, naive, or so blind that they do not know what crosshairs represent. We the people know what "reload" means as well. No sense in trying to backtrack now Sarah, you cannot take back words.

Some folks have a lot of nerve and GOP Congressmen Lamar Alexander is one of them. The media is not responsible for Palin's big mouth. She is! The media didn't tell her put out maps with crosshairs on them, nor did they tell her to tell people to "reload" or "take back our country" or to make racist statements. I've been telling people that Palin would be the ruin of her own self and that she would put her foot in her mouth one day in the future.  That's what happens when people like Palin like to hog the spotlight by saying anything other than what is right and morally correct. When a person's ulterior motive is wrong, it comes back to slap them in the face.

Well...some GOP folks are showing us folks some transparency after all, but the transparency that they are showing is their own bigoted beliefs. Take Congressman Kyle for example, evidently he is okay with the prejudice and bigotry since he defends it. Sheriff Dupnik is on the right track for calling it out. More then him need to start calling it out for what it truly is before more people wind up hurt.

Some folks tend to think more of themselves than they ought and Rush is one of them. Nevertheless, what Rush really is a skin color baiter and BS stirring troublemaker. Yup, he likes to stir up mess, especially the type of mess that causes more division than America needs right about now.  He made a statement on his radio show that, "President Obama wouldn't have been elected if he weren't black."

Well...I got news for Rush there were exactly 43 former presidents who would not have been elected if they had not been "white." And...? Okay, so is the color of a person's skin mandatory criterior for people running for President in multi-cultural diverse, America? So does that mean that black people should not take political science or run for any political positions? Does that, also, apply to people with yellow, red, and brown skin as well?

President Obama is black! Naaah...no kidding?  We the people didn't know that. According to Rush's constant reminders and quickness in pointing out the color of Obama's skin who happens to hold the highest office in this nation.  A man with black skin need not apply for the position of President because in Rush's eyesight skin color determines people's qualifications. Only those with white skin are qualified to be the President of this multi-cultural diverse nation with people of different skin colors.  Therefore, it is safe to say that Rush only votes for white skin people.  That's the only qualification which influences his vote. Issues have nothing to do with it in Rush's book.

Maybe, doctors should do a little research to determine if Oxycycotin causes hatred of skin color?  Or Rush should see Dr. Phil about his aversion to skin color.

BTW, Howard Fineman, shut the hell up! The President does not need to learn any lesson from 9/11, he knows how to handle emergencies and has demonstrated that in the past. You need to stop playing undercover hater, that's what you need to do.

Dr Phil Can't Help Us

You know that America has slid down into the abyss when you read sick articles like this. Or when you read about some political nut shooting a Congresswoman, killing a Judge, an innocent child, and others in the process. When you read about birds falling out the air and fish dying in different parts of the world, the time is long overdue for people to pray like never before because Dr. Phil can't help us.

Here in California, our newly elected veteran Governor Jerry Brown was sworn in. In his speech, he used that sentence that a lot of politicians are mimicking here lately. That "it's gonna be painful" for us. Of course, not one politician is going to feel any pain economically and you can bet your last dollar on that.

However, it wouldn't hurt if politicians could feel the pain with us. For instance, politicians could take a pay cut. That would save a whole bunch of money and trim the debt. In addition, they could abolish politician's salaries and let them work on a commission and pay them only when they deliver what "we the people" want instead of what big businesses want. I'm just saying! BTW, politicians look healthy, so they don't need a health care plan.

A policeman shot a man in a wheelchair. Well...at least he didn't tasered the guy to death or shoot him the back or unload on him or beat him. Therefore, the guy in the wheelchair must not be black. Wait a minute... he's not cripple or paralyzed either.

Oh Lawd! Sarah Palin is a wee bit nervous behind the Gifford shootings. I betcha it's because of Sarah's target map with the crosshairs. Hey Sarah, hows that "reload" working out for ya now? Did I read somewhere that Michelle Bachmann wants to run for President? It will be time to migrate to another country and change citizenships if that becomes a reality. Smh! Bachmann why don't you just get your own reality show and call it a day. Puleeze! You would do better than Flavor Flav...trust me.

Uncle Tom's Children

I happen to read the article from different perspectives, white and black, regarding Governor Patterson commuting the sentence of John White, which is stirring up a controversy in difference of opinions as is always the case. What is difference between a black man protecting their home and white man protecting his?

Every once in a while, I like to go back and read a book that I’ve already read in the past. The other day, I picked out of my collection an old book called “Uncle Tom’s Children” by Richard Wright. The first sentence he wrote in the book, “My first lesson in how to live as a Negro came when I was quite small.” That first sentence in the book struck me as sort of odd. I was like why would a black man make a statement like that? However, when I thought about it, it made a lot of sense.

Then it dawned on me. He had to learn how to survive in order to live in a world where black men were endangered species trapped in second-class citizenship because of the racist attitudes of most that did not want to see him get ahead in life or recognize him as a man. In order to survive he had to shift between two different personas and play by those in power set of rules or it could cost him his life.

Wright’s story mirrored that of many black men living in the South and a few other states during that time period. Most of the rules were aimed at stripping black men of their manhood and filled with constant humiliation. A black man had to play one role for those in power and another role which was his true self for his friends and family. Wright sacrificed who he was as an individual—a man and human being in order to feed and provide a roof over their head. Staying alive played a definite major part in his decision. His life and being able to live it to a ripe old age was of the utmost importance to him, but the main deciding factor in why he chose to play the game by their set of rules—he was powerless to do otherwise.

Richard Wright’s story took place during an era when there was no such thing as Civil Rights for minorities. Blacks had no rights! Black men in the past were lynched at the drop of a hat for trivial so-called offenses and many of those so-called offenses were created falsehoods because of their thirst for black men’s blood. In addition, it was their lust for watching strange fruit hanging from a tree for sadistic entertainment purposes. In my own family tree, there were three victims of lynching.

The newspaper article regarding the lynching of one of my ancestors who was a preacher is in a book called “100 Years of Lynching” by Ralph Ginzberg that focuses on lynching of black men in the past. I have a picture of my ancestor and several newspaper clippings regarding the incident and trial. The culprits who committed this act were brought to trial, but the only punishment they received was a verbal reprimand. They did not spend one day in jail. The justice system back then considered that reprimand—justice served.

I thought about the outcome in Oscar Grant's trial when I read the article about John White. How many more years do those in power want black men to play Uncle Tom's Children?

A Cry Out For Closure

As I've stated in the past, I like to read and surf the net. While doing a little research and surfing the net, I ran across a story out of the past that needs some closure for their families sake. That closure is long overdue. What the family is asking for is not much, accept a proper ID of the bodies and to be allowed to give them headstones.

I remember Governor Orville Fabus from back in the day because one of my own relatives was, directly, subjected to his stand against "colored" children attending those lilywhite schools back during segregation. In his mind, those darkies, one who happen to be related to me, were not entitled to a decent education.

Most black folks remember old Fabus who was known for defying President Eisenhower by closing down the school for a year to keep blacks from attending it and ordering the national guards to keep them out, which led to a showdown between Eisenhower and him. President Eisenhower won in the end, but not before it got a little undignified as Americans, black and white, watched on televisions screens across the nation.

Maybe, Mr. President should have chose President Kennedy or President Johnson to emulate.

People are angry that our President gave into the demands of the Republican's ultimatum. Can't say that I blame them because I am terribly disappointed in him making a deal with them myself. It comes a time when you have to pull up your pants and put your foot down and just say no!

I understand that he was feeling compassion for the unemployed with it being close to Christmas. However, Christmas last one day and it's over until the next year rolls around. Besides which, Christmas has become too commercialized and just another day for the rich to get richer while the poor get poorer. In addition, we got some unbelieving folks that just don't believe in Jesus, which isn't good, because a lot of them really do need Jesus. I'm just saying.

Never in a million years did I think I would live to see a black man become President of the Divided States of America. Nor did I think I would live to see Jim Crow and lynching revived under the leadership of a black President either, but well there are some folks in America that are longing for those nostalgic days.

Teach Me How To Dougie

It seems that a lot of folks are trying to learn how to Dougie. Wolf Blitzer and Barbara Walters are trying to learn how to do the Dougie. The Dougie might be a new dance craze like the Electric Slide that crosses over into all generations, but why do females always have to be referred to by the "B" word?

The Dougie dance does seem to bring out the lightheartedness in people and is popular with all ages and color. The dance might turn out to be the next Electric slide dance craze. However, it is not the dance that is disturbing, it's that "B" word in the lyrics. Come on now, young black men, you've got to stop referring to females as the "B" word. No female's mother on this earth named their daughter that.

Maybe, Pui Tak elementary school and an Darren Newton should have been learning how to do the Dougie.

A four year old child refused to cooperate. If your four year old acts up, should the school tie them up with duct tape? Pui Tak elementary school seems to think that is proper punishment, especially if they are black. Is execution next? Why do some folks seem to think that ALL black parents are the ONLY ONES lacking parenting skills and teaching their kids to be thugs?

The father thinks the underlying cause is racism. Granny is thinking--> glad the child wasn't one of those terrible 2s because no telling what would have transpired had that been the case. Patience is a virtue when dealing with small children. Some people do not need to work in positions that involve children.

There are laws that protect children against their parents. A parent could wind up facing child abuse charges and prison for disciplining their child using Pui Tak's method of punishment. They would be in court defending themselves against child abuse charges and Child Protective Services would be paying them a visit. So, is it okay for a school to abuse them?

Then there is Darren Newton, a dad who murdered his 15 month old baby and video taped it. A little duct would have came in handy to tie the dad up to prevent him from abusing that child.

Children have a soft-spot with me. I love having them around because it is never a dull moment with them. Like Ark Linkletter used to say, "Kids can say the darnest things." Children are such a joy to have around and you can learn from them too, if you pay close attention, and have a good listening ear. That is don't listen at them, but to them.

I always tell people that when you are a parent you are at the apprenticeship level, but when you become a grandparent you are at the journeyman level. Believe it or not when you become a parent you are in training and learning how to be one because there is more to being a parent than feeding, clothing, and keeping a roof over a child's head.

Racism Is Nostalgia With Indiana's White Folks

America has become a country well-known for its bigoted views. I mean...come on lets face it. What is the sense in trying to hide it, or pretend that we are post-racial, or act as if we are the country of brotherly and sisterly love when it comes to people of color. Our history is drenched in racism, discrimination, and prejudice. This country was built on a foundation steeped in racism.

Apparently, residents in Indiana seem to think being offensive with a racist twist to it is nostalagic because they are backing and support a Noblesville storeowner who is selling controversial soap with racist labels on it:

Okay, so I guess they wouldn't mind if young people of color begin businesses selling products with labels that are offensive to white folks. After all if you can't lick them, join them! It is 2010 going on 2011 and their game of offending people of color with imagery of exaggerated facial features on cartoon like characters which are racist in content has failed to cease.

Btw, Aunt Jemima's facial features on that bottle of syrup are not distorted and exaggerated. In my lifetime I've never seen a black man with red lips before, unless he was gay and wearing red lipstick. Nor have I ever seen a black man that looks like that picture.

There is no need to claim innocence in knowing that those images are offensive because black folks know without a doubt that claim of innocent would be false. After all, we've told them that time and time again for nearly one hundred and eleven years. However, they insist on continuing in their practice of degrading and being offensive towards people of color.

America is supposed to be a melting pot and multicultural, land of opportunity, liberty and justice for ALL country. The world is beginning to view America as the totally the opposite when it comes to people of color. There is not one nonwhite color group of people who has not experienced discrimination and racism in this country. Our country, lately, has taken it a step further with discrimination towards people with different lifestyles and those with different religious beliefs.

Alrighty then, what if some of our talented young artist and store owners who are people of color were to begin to do likewise. How would whites feel with products labeled white paddy, peckerwood, honky, etc.? Would whites so-called nostalgia come into play if the shoe was on the other foot?

Criminal background checks in the admission process are becoming a trend in colleges across the country in America . Will these background checks lead to another form of racial profiling and discrimination against black and brown people?

I mean it's not like they have to put in an application for college just to commit a crime. If they intended to commit a crime, they wouldn't be or have the time to be putting in an application for college.

How can they change their life around if the door is constantly shut in their face for trying? Is our society instrumental in singling out and blocking second chances to people of color who want to do a 360 degree turn around and become productive members of our society? Our world is full of those who want to do just that, but they need to be given a chance to do so.

Stereotypes are a pet peeve of mine. I see the damage that stereotypes do and how it leads to demonization of innocent people. Stereotypes are fed to Americans like apple pie and hotdogs and some people tend to gobble them up as if they are the truth and nothing but the truth. And white folks tend to cling to every stererotype of blacks as a reality of who black people are as a whole.

Dori Maynard, president of the Robert C. Maynard Institute for Journalism Education was thrown out of the lobby in the Hampton Inn. While waiting for one of collegues in the hotel lobby, she had a brief conversation with a guest staying in the hotel.

The myth that black people are failures academically, unemployed, and lazy has a strong grip in the minds of whites who buy into that falsehood. In the eyes of some white folks professional and smart academic black people like you do not exist. Why do they think that? Because it is drilled into their heads day and night through msm media, television, radio, and books.

Even the so-called black tv stations projects images of young people who are wild, semi-naked gyrating females, gold teeth wearing, forty ounce drinking, marijuana smoking, bling bling wearing gangstas with no substance whatsoever. In the minds of white folks these are the only black people that exist in this world. Nevermind that you can also see a tantamount of this with whites as well on tv, the movies, etc. too. All you have to do is check out my sidebar "Tales of Two Hoods" which I haven't changed lately due to the economy to be able to grasp that concept.

A Change In The Ordinary Order of Today

There are so many people all around us going through some depressing and rough times. My heart goes out to those suffering from major ordeals and crisis in this present time because of the economy. Therefore, I thought I would do something different today. Instead of writing a comment on political or social issues. I'm taking a break and doing something different. Today I'm sharing an inspirational video and asking you to share it with someone you know that might be going through a rough time right now. I pray that each one of you have a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Thanksgiving Holiday, a day to reflect on those things you are thankful for. Most of all having a roof over our heads, love ones, food in our belly, clothes on our back, health, and strength should be at the top of that list because there are many people in the world that don't have those things.

Abraham, Farrakhan, and Beck

Abraham Foxman was for Glenn Beck before he was against him and for him after he was against him. Okay, Abraham I guess your okay with Glenn Beck being chummy with white supremacist and spooning out bigotry in big doses as long as he claims to support Jewish people. He is just a little misguided at times so he can easily be excused for his racist propaganda and divisiveness according to you because he supports Jewish people. What about supporting other groups of people as well wouldn't that fall under what is right and fair too?

Which brings me to a question I have for Abraham. Why didn't you excuse Farrakhan's statements as misguided? After all, he did try to make amends with you and made several attempts to sit down with you and have a man to man talk. However, you've went out of your way to continously condemn and destroy him. Why wasn't any forgiveness for being misguided extended to Farrakhan by you?

Beck turned around and attacked you for speaking out against him for attacking Soros; he used an accusatorial tone towards you with a veil threat of revealing some of your hidden activities and funding of Soros and you changed your tune quick. Some of your own people are starting to question your credibility. Is it also okay with you that he uses anti-semitic comments, seems to have a Hitler fetish, smears nonwhite folks, and those he considers different from him?

Why can't the brothas get a little love and forgiveness too? And why does Beck gets a free ride? Come to think of it, Al Sharpen, Jesse Jackson,Tony Martin were all labeled anti-semetic, and so were quite a few others. Tony Martin fought back with his book. Farrakhan decided to fight back with a couple of books of his own. Al Sharpen and Jesse Jackson chose to ignore and go on about their business.

Thinking back, President Obama must have been added to that list, because Eric Cantor went over to Israel and usurped the President's power and met with Israel's leader regarding the President's stance against building those settlements in the President's first term. The President wrote some books for his daughters and now those books have come under attack because he wrote some positive things about Sitting Bull and Billie Holiday .

America is supposed to be a melting pot with diverse cultures of many groups of people that make up this nation. Yet, the only groups of people who seem to be being pushed out of the melting pot and constantly downgraded in their contributory accomplishments are nonwhites. They seem to be the only ones who are targeted for negative reinforcements. When it comes to hateful remarks aimed at them the beat goes on and so does bigotry.

Rick Sanchez was fired from his job and labeled not too bright and a few other things because of the statements he made on CNN about Jewish people. Beck smears Jewish people and gets to keep his job as long as he smears nonwhite people, including middleclass and poor whites, and others that they deem different from them who believe in equality and justice for ALL. Arsenio Hall's talk show host career ended after he had Farrahkhan on his show.

It appears that freedom of speech draws the line in the sand when it comes to Jewish people. There is always two sides to every story. Does the criteria considered in determining hatred only apply when someone points out flaws, faults, and wrongdoings of Jewish people? Is hatred towards other groups supposed to be regarded as trivial? After all, we're all supposed to be human beings aren't we? Isn't all hate the same?

However, people like Beck and Rush Limbaugh are allowed to spout out hate speech, divisiveness, and are regarded with high esteem that they are not worthy of at all just because they support Jewish people. You yourself said that you support Beck, so does that mean that you stand with him in hate for others? I support Jewish people too, but I do not support hate and wrongdoing. Nor do I support the intentional divisiveness, racism, and hatred that Beck and Rush manufacture and are able to get away.

Before I am labeled, which I could care less, let me say this in my defense. I am a woman that truly believes that ALL men were created EQUAL and are entitled to be treated fairly with dignity and respect that includes Jewish people. I do not believe in the supremacy of any group of people over another. I strongly believe in the humanity of every single human being on this earth. There is only one SUPREME BEING and that is GOD. I believe in what is right, just, and all human beings whether they are black, white, brown, yellow, or red are entitled to be treated equally; all have the same right to pursue happiness and the American dream. There is good and bad in each human group. None of them have a patent on being perfect. It is not hard to get along with people, nor is it hard to find something good and positive about people. Finding flaws, negatives, and faults in all groups of people, is easy too because we all have them.

His list only applies to "nonwhite" immigrants and "Liberals." King needs to be watched real close because I think he is a little color stroke and crazier than a road lizard.

When oh when is Michael Steele going to wake up and realize that peeling your lips back to show your teeth and jigging for the Massa does not mean equal status in Massa's eyesight. That chicken, collard greens, and watermelon strategy wasn't such a good idea either. Did he miss the memo that Negroes moved off the Plantation and don't have to steal Massa's chickens no more? Massa Rush appears to be having another one of his dope addict flashbacks and forgot that he sent Steele to the back of the bus a few months ago.

The GOP reminded Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin that it's best to leave leading up to the men, which is polite way of telling them that they are not very bright and missing a few chromosomes. The GOP doesn't mind them birthing their BS, poison, bigotry, and divisiveness babies into the population, but leadership positions are out of the question. Thank you Jesus!

CSPAN offers an unedited version that’s not polluted, full of bias opinions, and deception that is being fed to people these days. That’s if you want to be truly informed so that you can make good decisions. You can rotate back and forth between the channel for House and the channel for Senate.

Today the so-called bi-partisan committe to reduce the debt came up with a plan to steal grandma and grandpa's check and finish the job of forcing the middleclass to join the homeless population. Will we have to pay property tax on our cardboard boxes under the freeway underpasses? Will we be tax exempt if we file for senior euthanasia?

Excuse my french, but ain't that bout a biscuit. These politicians have lost their pea-brain mind! It is about time for a Million Seniors March on Capitol Hill and tell all seniors to make sure that they bring their walking canes with them so that they can beat some sense into those folks up on Capitol Hill.

Okay, I have a confession to make. Here lately, when I read the so-called brilliant ideas of nitwit politicians I get an urge to pass out size 8 1/2 enemas. There comes a time when you start to wonder to yourself if those folks up on Capitol Hill are intoxicated or if the water fountains around that place need checking or if it is possible that the air vents have been drugged. Smh and singing I shall overcome this urge one day.

Those are the only explanations I can come up with for those folks up on Capitol Hill who keep coming up with some of the most asinine solutions that would make a classroom dummy look like a genius. I've met homeless people and street-wise people on the streets with no education at all that would run circles around some of those folks up on Capitol Hill in the brain department.

I got an idea too, they need to closed down all of those so-called prestigious Universities and throw away the key. That would save them a lot of embarrassment for churning out people like those up on Capitol Hill that apparently have thinking ability that is not worth two dead flies. I'm just saying!

First of all, there is such a thing as supply and demand. If there is no middleclass or poor there is no need to supply the demand because there will no longer be any consumers to buy products and services. Therefore, those that supply the demand will be in the unemployment lines too. Nope, sorry...I forgot those that supply the demand have gotten filthy rich and don't need us consumers anymore. So, that leaves the middleclass and poor in a position of fighting over scraps to survive. It does not take an economist to figure that one out. Welcome to Serfdom of America!

Funny, how the economy is bad, but there are never any suggestions for cuts to the Congress paychecks or retirement or healthcare. Or how they can come up with boat loads of money to run campaigns to get elected, but can't come up with money for the general population. We pay them to rob us!

November 2, ~~the people voted~~, oops I meant some of the people voted for the candidate of their choice. I am not really surprised at the way things turned out. Nope, not at all. After all, so many people couldn't see past selfishness, impatience, racism, and their strong indoctrinated MSM political pundent's addictions. The day after November 2, many people have woke up to find themselves on a sinking Titanic.

Nor can we forget about certain groups that wanted President Obama to stop whatever he was doing and work on their individual group's need. People wanted him to wave a magic wand and do what they wanted overnight never giving consideration to the fact that he walked into a HUGE mess that almost booted this country into another depression. They couldn't visualize him as this picture displays him on the left. Or could they fathom how busy he was trying to solve the disasters left by the last administration. They really did want him to be the "magic negro."

No use crying over spilled milk. One of the problems was BACKSTABBERS lined up with their knives and scissors. However, I warned the people back in January that the President had backstabbers in his own party. Evan Bayh was 100% behind the President during the Presidential elections. It was all good when he thought that he might get that VP spot. However, it didn't work out that way. Yup, he was supposed to be one of President Obama's closest friends. In the beginning during the presidential campaign he was all for Health Care Reform. He wasn't the only one though because there were many more. Now Evan wants to tackle Social Security.

President Obama was the main Democrat that went out, showed support, and campaigned for Joe Liebermann when he was running for re-election. The other Dems did not bother with supporting Liebermann. To show his gratitude, Liebermann campaigned against President Obama and campaigned for his opponent John McCain and gave him a few problems after the election was over. Hillary loves her job and is content in it, but the Clintons well...I've often wonder which one of the Clintons came up with the bright suggestion of the President appointing their leftovers for his cabinet, since President Obama admired Mr. Clinton so much.

In addition, the Democrats let the Republicans stall getting the health care bill passed to give them enough time to villify it with the help of MSM. Furthermore, they let the Republicans play BS games to block all of the President's appointees for different positions and most of them still haven't been confirmed leaving the President's administration crippled.

Nope, the people weren't against the health care reform, they were upset at the Democrats for not standing up to the Republicans and fighting back. In addition, they wanted President Obama to stop compromising with the GOP and let his manhood voice shine through. In essence the people who supported him wanted him to put that size 11 and 1/2 shoe down.

In the beginning, those professors at Harvard University threw a few knives themselves. But that is to be expected since the majority of them were Republicans. The one strong trait that the Republicans have is browbeating and bullying tactics. The Republicans belief is that you agree with them or else. GOP tactics are similiar to strong-armed tactics of organized gangstas sending out hitmen. If you don't agree with them they'll go out of their way to destroy you through character assassinations with the help of MSM, mainly, Fox We Make Up Lies News. Well...that is if you want to label Fox a news station because it is anything but that.

Rupert Murdoch the Don over at Fox We Make It Up News along with his Lieutenant Roger Ailes peddled, through their character assassination hitmen, deception and lies off as news to guillible people who lead sheltered lives, Timothy McVeigh and Ruby Ridge type folks that hate government; or those fake Christians that believe Jesus fought in behalf of the rich. I'm speaking of those Christians that would stab Jesus in his back for the love of money...the modern day Judas.

When the wicked rule, the poor suffers. Eight years should have taught the people that lesson, I guess it didn't. Nevertheless, the bible said, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
However, it's the poor and downtrodden who will be the ones to pay the biggest price behind this last election. The rich and corporations will be rewarded and the middleclass will join the poor in status.
