GOP's Solution For America...Privatize It!

The teabaggers and rightwing party want to privatize the whole government!  That is exactly what all this hollering about less government is really about.  It is not just about cutting taxes for the rich, it's about making the pot sweeter for the future CEO's of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CORPORATION nicknamed Uncle Sam. This is what their future plans for America are if they get back in power.

Yeah, I know that sounds crazy, huh?  Or like another conspiracy theory, huh?  But think about it.  They want to privatize Social Security and a few other government agencies. Any government agency that is collecting money they want to privatize. Any government agency that is paying out money they want to eliminate it.  It's about profits and making money.  Good old fashion capitalism and greed...

Back when Healthcare was privatized  remember how HMOs which are corporations made the decision who should live and who should die, who could be treated and who would not be treated. They were overriding doctors prescribed medical treatments for patients.  In essence the HMOs were making the medical decision instead of  licensed Doctors. HMOs did not and would not cover the Doctors prescribed treatment not even in life or death situations.

If they were to privatize Social Security they would be headed by CEOs and the corporations would decide who gets it and who doesn't.  It wouldn't matter who paid into it and who didn't.  It didn't matter with HMOs who had paid into it when they rejected their claims did it? People lost a lot of money when the economy went bad with those 401K plans too. The CEOs would cut down claims to a bare minimum so that they could get those big bonus payments off the top and if they mismanage Social Security they get an even bigger severance pay check like AIG and the Bankers were giving out.

Why are they so anxious to get their hands on Social Security?  Is it really because the funds are running out and because of babyboomers or is it because there is a lot of money to be made?  A couple of years ago I tried to tell the people that those Bankers were playing a game and an eye needed to be kept on them. No one paid me any attention, until it came to the light and they almost brought America to its knees.  And how big a role does Wall Street play in the game with the up and down scoreboard?

Since all of these corporations are donating millions to the GOP election fund the economy must not be doing too bad.  At least it is not doing too bad for the CEOs and those corporations. And yet they want a tax cut while the middleclass and poor are the ones that are really suffering from losing their homes, jobs, etc.  I am not an accountant, but looks like to me those millions in donations corporations are making would make  decent wages in a paycheck for a few people who are unemployed right about now.  I'm just saying.

Corporations have money to burn when it comes to elections when they want a certain party to win, which is like gambling because the money they donate does not guarantee that party will win.  However, they are laying off folks left and right who have families to take care of and mouths to feed.  Corporations have been known to lay off people when they want to give the CEOs a bonus.  How many people did they lay off to donate money in the elections for GOP party?

Ah Granny, face it. You hate corporations, the Tea Party and the GOP. Corporations don't lay off people just so they can give more money to their CEOs or the elections. That is not the way they work. They are laying off because the American economy is weak. They spend money in support of politicians they feel will benefit them. And they usually contribute to both parties.

Businesses will ramp up hiring as the ecomony gets better(hopefully). It's that simple.

Nah, I don't hate corporations. I hate greed!!! Especially when I hear about and see many Americans being hurt behind it, losing their homes, can't feed their families, etc., and how greed is destroying this nation.

The economy is weak for the common people, but it is not weak for CEOs and all the CORPORATION heads. They're doing great because like I said their spending millions to try to buy the elections and get their people in office. Those same millions could have fed a lot of hungry families that they've laid off or outsourced job.

Granny, anonymous commenters stay anonymous for a reason: They're too embarrassed to own their own words.

Corporations lay off people after they have outsourced their jobs to China, and India.

Were corporations looking out for America's interest instead of their own, there' wouldn't be a call for "economic patriotism."

What's forgotten is that these multinational corporations have only one allegiance and that's to money, and only one loyalty--to themselves and their stockholders, which is why the gap between the rich, the middle class, and the poor is growing at an exponential rate.

On privatizing: The quality of work, where it's been used, has always suffered, because the lowest bid is usually the winning bid, and corners are cut to maximize profits at the expense of quality, and pride of workmanship.

Well, capitalism works that way. And I am not sure what the big deal is over greed. That's the point of capitalism, to get as much as you can. Which is what corporations do. Because we are an individualized country, it is only fair that individuals will think of themselves and get as much as they can. In other words, there is no such thing as having enough money because you can always hoard more.

This is not a socialist country.

The Kochs are good people who have had a positive impact on the world. You would silence them for doing no more than supporting things they believe in, in giving back to the country that has given them so much. For shame, Granny, for shame. Vanity and false witness will be your downfall!

Happy Columbus Day, Granny!

Hey Granny,

I need the women of God who post here to come and join us in a prayer thread at http://3chicspolitico.com/ for President Obama. Folks are now throwing books at him. Someone threw a book at him during a rally in Philly. The level of disrespect is unreal. Joe Wilson set the tone when he called the President a liar at the State of the Union address. Evil has no bounds.

And it was black dude that threw the book!

Okay, Justice. I have a few things that I need to take care of first, but I'll be over there later on this evening.

Granny,

You came to 3Chics and laid it down! It was awesome. I love it! I love it!

Mack Lyons said, "These same people will do nothing but look down at their shoes as corporations slowly but surely turn them into nothing but modern day serfs and sharecroppers."

That's only for weak-minded weak-spined liberals. I work in the corporate world and have done very very well. Mack, you have no idea!

Sorry for slow response, but it is that time of the year. I am busy doing my part for election day and in the little spare time I have left writing my book.

The big deal is the unemployment lines, people losing their houses, people not being able to feed their families, etc. Those mentioned problems are caused by GREED.

That is the point. Capitalism is based on greed and lots of it. Only the strong survive in America. That is, those who can make it. Come on, Get with it Granny...be a good American citizen.
