And Yet We Rise!

I remember Maya Angelou's poem, "Still I Rise". It was one of the most uplifting and powerful poems I had ever heard. There are times when we need to hear words of encouragement that will uplift our spirits in times when the world is wrapped with confusion all around us.

We need to be able to see our progress and how far we've came. Martin Luther King said that he had been to the mountain top. It is an ultimate victory to be able to reach the mountain top and look down on the other side and see the promised land because you are almost at the end of your journey and your reward is waiting for you on the other side.

This video is a to encourage and uplift your spirit. This young man needs to be recognized because our children are not recognized for the good they do, nor will you hear about their accomplishments or see any of them recognize in MSM unless they commit a crime. I hope and pray you enjoy the video. The young man's name is Deonte Bridges. His speech is worth listening too.
