Tricks Are For Kids

I haven't blogged in a few months for various reasons.  However, today I felt like exercising my rights to freedom of speech.  Does anyone remember back in 2011 of May when I wrote this  topic?    I was reminded of it when Clint Eastwood spoke at the RNC and illustrated my point regarding the President being invisible to them when he spoke to an invisible President in an empty chair.

Did Clint call the President Mr.?  I guess calling him Mr. Obama instead of boy is what the Republicans consider progress. Those on the right have a very bad habit of addressing him as Obama and Mr.  Nevertheless, it is so disrespectful that those folks on the right insist on not addressing him as President Obama or Mr. President as they did all of the Presidents before him who were white.  After all, he does hold the highest office in America and whether they like it or not he is America's Commander in Chief and President.

For the last few months, I've been keeping up with the Trayvon Martin case.  His case is just as important right now as the coming elections.  The reason being that if Zimmerman gets away with his cold blooded act of murder, it sets the stage for copycats to surely follow and innocent young black males to be labeled thug as an excuse to kill them at random and get away with it.  All black males are not thugs.  Neither was Trayvon! 

Nevertheless, check out the video above that is a reenactment with a written argument following each scene which; challenges everything Zimmerman claims and then check out this one too. 


BTW, First Lady Michelle Obama gave an excellent speech last night.  And Lily Ledbetter gave a heartfelt speech that was moving as well.  All of the speeches given last night were great!  One thing Mitt Romney did right was picking his VP.  Yep, they're a perfect match because both of them are skilled in lying and revisionist.

Anyway, stay tuned, I'm not promising topics on a regular basis because I've been babysitting my two year old great-granddaughter who is full of energy and wears me out by the end of the day.  Yet, she is a bundle of joy and I enjoy watching her grow.

Mr. and Mrs. Sleazy and Greedy Folks,

Well, I wonder how many folks are free of debt that donated to George Zimmerman.    Mr. and Mrs. Sleazy are free of debt and have plans of living large once Zimmerman gets out of jail.  Yep, Mr. and Mrs. Sleazy do nothave a care in the world according to transcripts of their jail conversations.  Everything is all under control and according to them; it’s a cinch that he’ll go free.  Alrighty!

Thanks to all of Zimmerman’s generous monetary donors Mr. and Mrs. Sleazy have paid off all their bills and have plans to move into a six bedroom home, buy a couple of cars, and live large for the rest of their lives.   Included in the list of things to buy were some bullet proof vests for Mr. and Mrs. Sleazy and their Attorney.  Yep, he played his donors like a piano. 

Apparently, Mr. and Mrs. Sleazy got it all mapped out.  Nowadays, it is rewarding to kill an unarmed young black male at least that is Zimmerman’s way of thinking.   People like him love that “Stand Your Ground Law,” which in reality apparently means kill a black person, because it and gets them out of jail free.  It is a means of justification.  However, the law does not apply if it is a black person when they feel their life is threatened.

Mr. Sleazy even had plans to buy Mrs. Sleazy a scarf out the deal.  How generous of him.  Mrs. Sleazy went to jail behind her hubby’s game plan and to show his appreciation he wants to buy her a scarf.  Wow!  I hate to be the one to tell Mrs. Sleazy, but that is cheap. I mean since perjury in Florida is a felony and I do not know too many states that let you get or keep a nursing license with a felony, but that’s Florida we’re talking about.  They’re a little abnormal down in Florida.

The Republican Congress has their heart set on starving the poor.  They want to cut billions from the foodstamp program.  But what they won't tell you is how Banks and big corporations made a killing off of foodstamps.  Why does the Republican party fail to acknowledge that real "Welfare Queens" are Corporations and Banks?

Kill A Black Male Season!

Apparently, in America white supremacist have decided that Blacks need to be annihilated.  The "Stand Your Ground Law" has become their method of annihilation.  This law does not benefit Black people. It only benefits whites.  We know that without a doubt because Marissa Alexander was sentenced to twenty years in prison for shooting in a wall.  Yet no one was killed.

The SYG law has given whites legal license to kill innocent and unarmed Blacks.  First, it was Trayvon Martin, a few days ago it was a thirteen year old kid taking in the garbage.  Kijuan Byrd, 29 was  shot in the back and the guard is claiming the SYG law.    The guard has been arrested. Without a doubt, the SYG law needs to be reviewed and abolished. 

The SYG law was made to induce fear in the Black community.  Well, I don't know if is inducing any fear, but it sure is pissing a lot of Black folks off.  These incidents to cease and stop! I'm mighty afraid that something bad is gonna to happen, if folks don't put a halt to these SYG killings.  Ice melts and so does steel.

Another lynching has taken place.  Only this lynching is a replica dummy of the President of the United States of America by the same lunatic so-called Pastor that burned the Korans that endangered our soldiers lives overseas. This false teacher needs to be jailed for threatening the life of a President.

Oh, I forgot, the President is Black and arresting this so-called preacher for threatening the life of the POTUS only counts and is serious if the President is white.  I'm noticing a trend here in America called double standard in the so-called land of LIBERTY and JUSTICE for all.

I don't know what god those on the right serve, but it sure is not I AM that I AM, Almighty God!  Nope!  Theirs is a strange religion! 

And I don't know what bible this Pastor studys, but I can assure you that it is not the King James Version.  Nor is it anything that I've learned in Bible College or at church. If this Pastor came to my church,  my Pastor would more than likely invite him up front so he could be delivered from his hate demons.

I guarantee you he wouldn't be invited to sit up in the pulpit as a visiting Pastor at my church.  Nope, my Pastor don't play that!  I don't care what church you pastor over, if you not right, that invitation will not be extended or offered or even suggested.

Justifications, Stereotypes, Vigilantes and Thirteen Year Old Bites The Dust

It has gotten to the place that no Black child is safe in America.  I take that back.  No Black child is safe in America.  As a matter fact, no Black person has ever been safe in America. Being black in America means that on a daily basis, we have take extraordinary measures just to survive.

Seventy-five year old John Henry Spooner killed Darius Simmons a thirteen year old boy.  Spooner accused Simmons of burgarizing his home and stealing his guns.  However, when the burglary took place, Simmons was in school.  Spooner assumed that Simmons was the thief.  Simmons and his family had only lived next door to Spooner for 29 days.  His mother said she called herself moving into a better neighborhood.  Now, she mourns the lost of her child thinking that she was moving into a safer neighborhood.

However, it did not just get like this.  It has always been this way.  Dr. Robert Persley & Hasan A. Sharif once wrote in their book Why Men of Color Are An "Endangered Species" in America that men of color have an invisible bull's eye on their back and don't even know it.  But I disagree with them, Black males know it and so do Black females. 

Black people know that they can be murdered and that the justice scales will tip in favor of the murderer if he is white.  In addition, Black people are aware that if they become a victim or a perpetrator that their whole family tree all the way back to when their first ancestor set foot on American soil will be investigated. 

Anything negative in their background regardless to how minor it may have been will be magnified to make them out of the culprit instead of the victim. We are aware that if a Black person has a clean slate that people will come forth and make stuff up to smear them because Black people are not allowed to have a clean slate in America.  Black is always seen as evil and bad!  History has taught us that!

So my question is this, why do we even bother to try and seek justice in America?  Apparently, murdering our Black youths seems to be an agenda.  Innocent young Black children are being killed and the only legal recourse for their demise is justification for their demise as in the case of Trayvon Martin.

Our youths are automatically labeled thugs because of what they wear although it wouldn't matter what they wear.  As far back as the early 1900s, Blacks males wore suits, slacks, and shirts, but that did not stop them from being labeled thugs--scary black males and brute beast or being murdered with justification. 

Being a Black woman in America, when I read about incidents like this, I think about my own grandsons and son and I pray for their safety.  My grandsons and son are decent law-abiding Black males.  However, the color of their skin has become a burden for me because their safety in America is a serious issue.  It has become an issue that is not being solved, but seems to be getting worse and only a justification.

Even my daughters, granddaughters, and my own safety is of concern.  Often I pray that none of my family becomes a justification like I've observed many other Blacks whose lives have been taken such as Oscar Grant or Sean Bell or many others whose skin is a darker hue.  The other day, I read about and wrote about a pregnant Black female being kicked in the stomach by a police officer.  I read the comments in a police forum comment section and here is an example of some of them:

"Further - Merconium in the amniotic fluid is common - and quite frankly - if this welfare leech was inclined to endanger her meal ticket to attack police over her shitstain brother being arrested - who's to say she didn't get into a fight with someone else? Bullman says that Wheeler, at the advice of his supervisor, arrested Dozier because he would "need to be justified" for kicking a pregnant woman if "something were to happen to the baby."~~Rightwing Liberal~~

Black communities have their share of bad actors just like all other communities.  We also have decent human beings that live in the Black community that are seeking a better life and the American dream. However, when someone in our community does something bad the whole Black community is painted with a broad brush that is unjust and unfair to those who are decent and law-abiding.

The Black community has some good decent kids, church folks, college students, students, working class folks, and professionals as well.  However, those people are overlooked, ignored, and lumped in a barrel with the bad seeds among us. That's what is scary! It makes all Black people possible justifications and stereotypes. 

They Trip On Ropes They've Hidden, And Fall Into Pits They've Dug Themselves.

Apparently, Zimmerman's lies are catching up with him.  He and his wife got caught in a lie, so the Judge revoked his bond.  Why are people surprise?   This wasn't the first lie he told. Nope! Let me refresh folk's memory.

Zimmerman told a lie at his bond hearing.  He told Trayvon's parents, "I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than me"  But he told the 911 dispatcher Trayvon was a teenager.

He claimed that Trayvon followed him to his truck.  Yet, Trayvon's body was found around the corner in front of a building a  good ways from his truck. 

The lead investigator also thought that Zimmerman's story was inconsistent.

Now, there is a jail recording of him and his wife Shelly plotting to transfer money into other bank accounts and hiding another passport.  His wife is a liar too.  She also lied during the bond hearing.  And so did his dad, when he claimed that Zimmerman wasn't violent.  Yet, Zimmerman has a record of violence. 

Matter of fact, I sorta wonder about his lawyer, doctor and few others prior to Zimmerman being arrested.  I know a quite a few lawyers. What struck me as odd was that his defense attorney did not know about the money or fund raising before it hit the news. I was under the impression that most experienced lawyers grill those seeking their assistance thoroughly before even taking a case. Ask questions!

Which brings me to another story.  Why is okay to kick a pregnant woman in the stomach if you wear a badge?  What 180 pound pregnant woman do you know moves with agility?  And one with a stomach this big in picture below:
 

Most pregnant women that big can barely get up, walk, let alone move agressively.  They wobble when they walk. Women in this stage of pregnancy have to take extra precautions not to slip and fall because they are inclined to be clumsy.

In both cases, the department justified Wheeler's actions and exonerated him. ~~Jodie Fleischer, WSB-TV~~

"It's showing that there is an ongoing pattern and practice of attempting to clear officers of clearly illegal, unconstitutional, and improper conduct," Bullman said. ~~Jodie Fleischer, WSB-TV~~

Officer Jerad Wheeler kicked Raven Dozier who was nearing her ninth month of pregnancy in the stomach. It appears from two prior complaints that Officer Wheeler likes to beat on unarmed black women and hide behind his badge.  What kind of man, regardless, if he wears a badge or not would kick a pregnant woman in the stomach?  Notice the bruise on her stomach.  He had to kick her awful hard for a bruise like that to appear on her stomach.  Only in America!

Better yet, what are they teaching police at the academy these days?  It's okay to endanger the life of an unborn child if you wear a badge? Smh!  In my honest opinion, police departments in American need to do a major overhaul.

Scary Black Dude!

Lately, I've been hearing a lot of Zimmerman's supporters complaining that none of the pictures of Trayvon are recent. Okay, so I decided to post a recent picture of Trayvon taken a few weeks before he was MURDERED.

This is the young man that Zimmerman's supporters have labeled a thug and big scary looking black dude. He looks like an average teenager.  I don't know too many young males that put on a suit and tie to go to the store in the rain, unless they work in a office and are on their way to work.

Heck,  I guess I would look suspicious to Zimmerman if he saw me in my housecleaning gear.   Yep, head rag, sweats or jeans, big baggy T-shirt, a HOODIE, and flipflops. I pay good money for my clothes and I'm not about to mess them up mopping, dusting, and scrubbing. Leave it to Beaver's mom was full of dung.
 
Evidently, Geraldo and Bill O'Reilly must think that black young boys should wear a suit and tie.  It's okay for everybody else to wear hoodies, except black people because they look like thugs if they wear one.  So, my two-year great-grandchild is a thug because HOODIES mean black people are thugs.   Geraldo and Bill are full of dung too.  Granny--->giving both of them major eye rollage!
 
It's a few things wrong with that going by appearances, innocent people are targeted and wind up dead.  Because according to Geraldo's stereotype, all BLACK males are SCARY.  It wouldn't matter if Trayvon had been dressed in a suit. 

Nope!  Because they would find something wrong with that.  There was a time when all Black males dressed in slacks and suits, but that didn't stop them from being harrassed by the police or stereotyped.  So, should black males just wear their birthday suits and call it a day? 

Has Geraldo or Bill looked in the mirror lately?  I mean since we're judging people by their appearance someone should tell them how they look.  Geraldo looks pretty scary himself with that ridiculous mustache. 

And Lord knows if they can stand the sight of Jesse Lee Peterson...I'm just saying.  Peterson could audition for a part in a monster flick and they wouldn't even have to apply any makeup. 

I don't cuss, but Geraldo and Bill can pluck themselves and the horse they rode in on!
