Dumbistan!

What is the GOP solution to balancing the budget? End education, take away seniors income and give it to CEOs,take food and shelter away from the poor; give the power back to the CEOs instead of doctors to decide who should live and who should die, more deregulation, and outsourcing of jobs. And the rich live happily ever after.

So far us Californians are not buying the teaparty's offer. We are still reeling from the Terminator's policies that have stripped our education system down to a skeleton. However, states like Nevada, Alaska, Florida, wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, and a few more states seem to be in favor of the GOP teaparty candidates whether they are qualified or not.

According to the polls the GOP party will be taking back control of the House and Senate. And those who stand to suffer the most from their policies love it! Either the people are having a bit of "Bush years" notalgia and missing the days of corruption in mortgage and lending, banking business, and big corporation trickled up economics or they are bewitched. If it is the latter, praying folks better pray harder that the people snap out of it before November 2.

Although there is another explanation for the polls showing favorable ratings for the GOP party I've noticed going on this midterm election season. Democrats haven't been getting any telephone calls from the polling people. Usually about this time, my telephone would be ringing off the hook. However, my phone hasn't rung once for this midterm election. Strange thing is that most people I've asked say they've been experiencing the same thing and tell me that they haven't been getting any either. Only the Republicans have.

Depression could be another explanation. It is an emotion that will sometimes affect people's thinking and have them not thinking at all. Due to the mortgage and job crises it is understandable and perceivable that the majority of Americans are depressed and not being rational right now. I mean no one would hurt their own-self unless they have some type of mental disorder.

And face it with all the stress people are going through right now there are plenty of mental disorders spreading around right about now. That's the only rational way to explain people voting for people like this and this and this and this.

On November 2, I plan to make sure that my vote is counted win or lose because it is not over until the "Fat Lady Sings."

Anyone who makes less than about 250K/year and votes Republican is in your words Granny, "crazier than a road lizard". Furthermore, they will sho'nuff be roadkill if the Rethugs get back in.

Amen Ernesto! Bur for some reason I don't think it is gonna turn out like they think it is.

I find it strange that this year I haven't received on telephone call from any polling. Every year around election time my phone is ringing off the hook with polling people calling. And other people I've asked too say the same thing, except for those that are Republicans. Remember during the Presidential elections how they played with the polling numbers and even changed the electorate vote requirement several times throughout the election.

Also, I read an article somewhere and someone was thinking along the same lines. That the polls are not being straight and are trying to discourage people from voting.

GrannySfT,

I, too, will be sure to vote in November. We have to mobilize the Dems to support President Obama.

What that man has had to endure over the last 20 months has been painful for me to watch.

Painful.

This country doesn't deserve this intelligent, honorable, decent man.

What's the old saying? "A prophet is never appreciated in his own country?"

I appreciate Mr. Obama and will work to get out the vote.

We are going to suffer losses, I'm afraid, but over the next two years I believe things will improve, and Mr. Obama will triumph again.

I do not think we're gonna suffer as many losses as the Republicans, polling folks, and MSM is saying that we are. They've been greasing a lot of palms for this election to yell that message out and drown out the people's voices.

But think about it most of those shouting that the GOP is gonna have a landslide are owned by CORPORATIONS. The media is practically owned by Rupert Murdock. A lot of people only associate Rupert with Fox, but he also sits on the board at CNN too and owns newspapers.

Great take on the whole tea party movement. I just cringe thinking about how all the tea party folks are always trying to get the word out to as many people at one time as they can.

I haven't heard any complaints yet from folks being disappointed because their phones aren't ringing off the hook.

Bwahahahahahaha

That was a joke, who wants to get a call from them anyway right!

OMG, I can't believe it, he must be a member of the tea party, some guy must be having one of those mental breakdown moments you were talking about. He is looking at his phone and mumbling something about not getting any of the latest tea party updates.

Those silly tea party folks. Maybe if the GOP quits trying to spread their message people will finally wake up and realize how stupid they were.

That is exactly what I been thinking about this polling bs.

I always early vote and encourage everyone I know to do the same...it is finally catching on. I was proud to see my daughter, her friends, and some of my friends with their "I Voted Today" sticker on Saturday :-)

Sarah FoolingYouPalin said they will be dancing in the streets after November 2, however, I think it is going to be the Democrats dancing in the streets.

35,000 showed up to the Dem Rally in Columbus, Ohio. None of these channels broadcasted it: CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNBC, and ABC. Only CSPAN did!

At the other rally he had a huge showing too. Something fishy is going on. The GOP and teabag folks are lying and trying to discourage folks from going out to vote. They are hoping people take the bait and believe that the people are 100% behind the GOP but that is not true from the looks of it.

Pass the word around.

Yup, the GOP is full of dung!

Remember your above comment on Nov 2, when reality sets in. Shaw is right. Dems are going to get creamed.

Well, Granny, I love your blog. But the majority of people who bothered to vote on
Hell Tuesday (11/2/10) did in fact vote for the rich, and now they are getting the rich!
One problem with democracy is sometimes the bad guys do win.
